Sorry, if already posted, but anybody interested in getting warhawk play.com have the blu-ray bluetooth headset edition on pre-order for £32.99!!

no idea how much everybody else is gonna charge (well except game & gamestation who will charge the full whack for it) but it does seem good value at that price.

aye pre-ordered with heavenly sword (same price) about a week ago.

saves some hdd space + a headset... well worth the bit extra imo.

Yeah same here.Seems a bit pointless when you have a working headset.Does the blu-ray version have any extra maps or anything?

I'm guessing that the download version will have quicker loading times unless you can install some stuff to disk with the blu-ray edition. Might be useful for getting a quick start each round.

apparently the blu-ray disc allows 'ghosting' of the game data to another ps3 if you play with an ad-hoc network.

they've said they will be exactly the same (bluray/online) in content.

and if looking at us prices the download should come in at 25

Unless the price difference (excluding headset) is substantial, i think we're better with the boxed version..because you can trade/sell that at a later date...try doing that with your install!

The download version has the advantage of just being there though, without needing to put the disc in. Which is handy for extremely lazy people like myself.

Not that I'll be buying either.

Don't think I'd want to trade it in. It should keep going for a while.

Very happy with the headet I've got as well, and it was pretty cheap.

I Have not got one of these Bluetooth Headsets yet and was a little worried about getting one that was not compatible.
I imagine this one should be compatible with not just Warhawk but all VOIP games.
Think I might stick my pre-order in on play now...

i'm with the download posse on this one. ever since getting a HD for my ps2 i completely resent the fact i have to get off my arse to change discs for the ps3.

it seems like such an injustice.

Warhawk They’re “aiming for” for August 28 on the PSN, at what we think is a very decent price of £19.99. The retail version, bundled with a Jabra bluetooth headset, is due September 21 at £39.99.
    [via threespeach.lol]

3 weeks for a headset.. tempted to cancel if it stays like that.
    instant gratification pls.

    [code]
Heavenly Sword is due September 14.

Folklore - TBC, but the plan is October 12.

Lair - Also TBC, but the plan is October 26. (scoreboardslol, clearly control scheme revamp)

You can get Warhawk for £29.99 from Game online. It's priced at £34.99 on the website but if you use the code "summerfun" you get a £5 discount!

I think you can use the code as many times as you wish on purchases over £30!

That there 20 quid sounds like a good price for a multiplayer-only game, especially if thery support it with proper servers and new maps and stuff. FASA could have done with that pricing on Shadowrun, really.
