    oo oo oo o oooo!!

man gotta go, I've seen Kraftwerk Live at Tribal Gathering... 97? (the festival not the nightclub dohickey). twas apparantly there first live performance on 15 years or so.

Much as they did modernise much of the songs, Radioactivit and Pocket Calculator are my faves. The atmostphere was immense, Dj's from other Tents even refused to play so they could go and watch Kraftwerk perform.

I'm getting shivers just typing this. The performance was that good

No love for The Werk round here?

    Well.

I'm not angry. Just, y'know. Disappointed.

@Commander Keen Don't dig up ancient threads. It's annoying.

I see. Is the etiquette to start a brand new one on an existing topic then? I'm not sure I see the difference - this is a thread to do with Kraftwerk live, which is what I'm posting about, no?

No, the etiquette here is if you've found an old thread and you have something worthwhile to add, bump away.

We prefer to NOT have multiple threads about the same thing!

    I totally called it.

I would call an enquiry about tickets for an upcoming gig "worthwhile"...

In an ideal world I'd love to have gone, however I didn't even bother trying. I didn't expect today's fuck up, but I knew it would be a nightmare to get tickets. Also 60 is a bit fucking cheeky.

Oh well, I've already seen them four times, maybe that'll be my lot.

60 quid's not bad for an event like this.
Shame there's not many tickets to go around.

Telling someone on the internet how to behave. Imagine :)

Anyway, shame about the shambles with the tickets. This is truly a one off gig and feels like its in their natural environment!

Looks like the real deal this time around. I guess it's a moot point for me though!

I wish I could have gone. 60 to see kraftwerk do that at the Tate would've been well worth it IMO.

God knows why fantomex was getting so pissy about the bump though!

Isn't that just what people do around here? :)

Anyway, I think I'll have to scan a few of my more illict channels to see if I can get a ticket to the Radioactivity or Man-Machine gigs. Otherwise I'll pretend to be aloof in a way in which I think the band would approve of...
