Just finished watching that claptrap on BBC 2 for the first time.

It really is the most rediculous bobbins I have seen for some time.

Why the hell has this been hyped up so much? I laugh out loud at most of it because it is so silly. And this is after enjoying the likes of Transformers and Spider-man.

Problem with this is, aside from Hiro (who isn't funny in the slightest), it all takes itself so seriously, and yet is so rediculous, that I can't help but laugh.

I'm obviously the odd one out here though.

Shouldn't really judge an entire series on the first episode. It gets better with every one if that's any consolation ;)

But obviously if it doesn't agree with you then don't watch it, duh.

Well actually it was 2 episodes back to back, but the whole concept is so silly and cliched that it just irritates me.

That's a fucking insult, I do NOT watch Big Brother. Now that is a big pile of shite if ever you saw one.

    :D

I'n not trolling, but tbh I didn't think that comment would go down well here.

I do hate all those progs though...

    I thought it was brilliant.

But then I do watch Buffy, Firefly and 24, but not Lost... and I fail to see what any of those shows have to do with Big Brother.

I do agree someone is definitely taking things too seriously.

Same, I've never watched any of those programs but I do kinda like Heroes even though I'm only going on the first two episodes. TBH it's wrong to group people's viewing habits like that. Just because you like Heroes doesn't mean you like, or watch, BB.

I thought it ws quite good. I'll watch it again next week anyway.

Only tuned in because of the hype as there is very little I make a point of watching weekly (with the exception of Still Game).

You're all wrong. It's not good. It's not bad. It's middle-of-the-road. It's the Dire Straits of fantasy tv. I am right, because I looked in the mirror and I told me so. I wouldn't lie to me.

The 24/Lost/Heroes crowd is the exact opposite to the Big Brother crowd. Everyone I know who likes the former shows, hates Big Brother, and vice versa.

The first couple of episodes were a bit mediocre. Although once you get a good grasp of the characters and the story starts becoming clearer, it gets a lot more watchable imo.

Although keeping with the sensationalist angle, I'm going give it a score of Amazing out of Shit.

I took the liberty of de-moronifying your post. Hope you don't mind.

Most of the BB watchers around here are guys. Can't stand it myself.

Heroes is okay though. Not genius or anything, but adequately entertaining.

Blokes who like BB are either gay or so under the thumb it's untrue.

PS. Never mind 'IMO', that's a FACT!

edit: I take that back. It's possible they could be neither of the above, but just fucking stupid instead.

    I thought it was ok-ish I suppose.

Teenage angst and psycho-babble to satisfy the US audience, and over-used pseudoscience spoils it, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.
