Another fairly miserable week, especially seeing as there still doesn't seem to be any sign of Raw Danger, despite some site or other promising it for this week. The shameless charlatans. Anyway, there's The Darkness for PS3 and some brainy stuff for the Wii and a whole bunch of Transformers shit, including TWO games for lucky DS owners to get ripped off with.

    PLAYSTATION 3
    The Darkness
    Transformers - The Game

    XBOX 360
    Transformers - The Game

    WII
    Big Brain Academy
    Transformers - The Game

    PLAYSTATION 2
    Transformers - The Game

    PC GAMES
Civilization 4 - Beyond the Sword
    Transformers - The Game

    DS
    Transformers The Game - Autobot
    Transformers The Game - Decepticon

    PSP
    Shrek the Third
    The Cube
    Transformers - The Game

    GAME BOY ADVANCE
    None this week

    Next Week:
Pokemon Diamond and Pearl for the DS, the PSP flavour of Tomb Raider Anniverary, and the "Rock The 80s" version of Guitar Hero 2 for the PS2. Rock.

I thought the DS Transformers games were Protect and Destroy?

Pants week. At least PS3 owners get to find out why the 360 board were frothing about The Darkness.

I don't suppose that this is a variant of that Transformers game that everyone said was really quite good but that sold like holey socks?

Does anyone know if Planet Puzzle League was ever released in Europe for the DS, as I'm having trouble tracking it down...

Only one 360 game? It's true, LeD was right. MS are abandoning the console market. It's all so clear now.:o

No, this is a brand new and completely shit Transformers game which will obviously outsell the one that everyone quite liked by about 50 gazillion copies.

Heheh, it's not a bad game. Worth the buy but Riddick was much better. Much more polished.

Edit 1: If so, I ordered it from play.com on tuesday and got the dispatch notice yesterday!

    Edit 2: Thought so!

What the fuck is wrong with Nintendo?! Why can't they release the the brilliant game that come out in JApan week in and week out here too? FFS! Get your bloody finger out my arse!

    What's that?

I'll be having some free time in the following weeks and I wouldn't mind catching up with Civ IV. I haven't played it with any of the later patches or with any of the expansion packs.

Yeah - it's been out a couple of weeks. I had trouble find it to - until I went to the conuter at GAME and asked if they had it in stock :

G- "yeah, we've got some out back"
K- "Really, you have none on display"
    G- "Yeah"

And the guy went out back and got me a copy...

    ....?!?!?!?!?!?

Don't be fooled by any good reviews of this game. It is complete and utter rubbish. Had a review copy sent in and traded it in super quick smart like.

I suppose one good transformers game is all i can expect out of this life time...

Yeah, they should have just got the old one, re-jigged it for PSwii60 and shoved that out to great acclaim.

    Gotta wait for my copy to wing its way over from Europe. Doubly frustrating as I couldn't get the preview code I'd had for the last three weeks to work ;_;

    Don't forget the Civ group!

Same here - my disc 3 was cracked right down the middle when it arrived and 2K just ignored all my phone calls and emails about it.

Had no probs with the disc. It was even more annoying: after installing the Gold version of Civ IV and then the expansion, when trying to load any version it would ask me to put the disc in the drive.

    Grrr?

And unfortunately I don't have my own PC or game discs so my copy of Civ IV could not come to the rescue. However, although 2K couldn't help they are sending a full version of Civ IV along with the expansion review code so I won't encounter any problems :)
