Also, I've got Katamari's on my level, which I know means the Prince is about. But I can't find the sod to save my life.

Oh! So THAT'S how you know he's about! I had Katamaris on the first level it ever created. No Prince though and no Katamaris since.

Registered 7 years agoTo get the prince just keep swapping levels on the moon. You'll get a level full of him at some point. This post is sponsored by Apple and the iPhone 4S. Think different.

Registered 8 years agoI have decided to give up with this game. I love the style and find it very charming, but I just found it too aimless, and there's only so long I can waste time by eating people and/or hooking clouds. I also think it has possibly the worst camera in any game I've ever played.
Shame. I really wanted to like it, but I need more structure. -

Takahashi has posted on the PSBlog again, confirms offline multiplayer is on the way.
Last month, Girl reached the moon.
Think I might contribute a few metres to the cause this weekend. Got my doubts that we'll ever make it to Mars though unless they change things somehow.
I was filled with emotion when that happened because I was wondering if a lot of people were playing the game. And I am truly grateful for all those who have. Thank you all very much. Some of our own staff was also touched more than they had expected. With that said, the next goal, Mars, is still far away. It would take all the current players a while to reach Mars, so more people have to join in on the fun.
There have been many reviews/criticisms since Noby Noby Boy released. I totally understand as this is such a unique game and I expected those reactions. I don’t mean to make any excuses. That being said, I do get depressed from time to time as I want users to enjoy the game as much as possible. But at the same time, this is what I wanted to create.
In the hopes that more people can enjoy the game, we are currently working on an update.
A featured addition to the update is going to be offline multiplayer. Some may say, “Offline!?” But it’ll still be fun. Please check it out.
Well, it’s going to be quite a long journey to Mars. Please be patient. This is Takahashi. -
I'm contributing at the moment! Is it me or can you stretch more easily on the moon. More area to stretch too.
RE:structure.... to do that, he really needs to patch in more trophies and to keep them secret. Some harder ones like stretch 1000m, hook 3 clouds to the ground, eat a tree, eat a building. -
I miss this game

Crappy broken PS3 -
Some bod did 9mil metres yesterday.
I've gone over 100,000m in total and currently sit at 1011 on the leaderboard.
Strange game, I never think "OH I MUST PUT THIS ON!" but once I do, I end up compusively faffing around for ages! -

Any tips on getting these hybrids for one of the other trophies?

Registered 7 years agoHit Select and something to bring up a status screen, that'll tell you exactly how much you've streched as you play. As for the hybrid, just eat lots of stuff and make BOY huge (able to eat people sized objects), then just eat fruit, person, fruit, person etc.
One of them will inevitably become a fruit-headed hybrid !
Only trophy I'm missing is the "make BOY's arse bigger than his front half" or similar. You can read this ? You've helped ruin the place.

Registered 6 years agoI love this game! It's so fun i've not tried the hybrids yet, but I love 'resisting' one end on the spinning top, and watching Noby twirl round and round.
Or making him huuuuuuuuge then holding triangle to watch him pour out of the chimney
"I wanted to meet interesting and stimulating people of an ancient culture... and eat them."

Registered 7 years agoThe music choices are interesting, to say the least. Arranged by instrument, with some fairly weird and wonderful choices......including something special for Zelda nutters

I can kinda understand peoples' frustrations with this but I do think it's a really neat toy.
It's fun to stick it on in the background as a screensaver with a custom soundtrack (Katamari OST, e.g.) and to tool around in it here and there.
I'd be interested in reading a Gamasutra-style development breakdown with Takahashi. From what I understand there were a lot of ideas that they never got round to implementing, which is a shame.come at the king, you best not miss
