Everyone! of course you are all welcome at M.Corp, and I am currently talking to my 5 directors about the possibility of giving those that were directors of Incom the same privilages in M.Corp - which is a joint CEO role. After all we have known each other for an age now and all the bad eggs have shown their true colours already *cough* Nick Marshall *cough* ;-D

Current members at M.Corp who share CEO roles with me are:

    Obiwand
    Svenn Waldak
    Trell Artella
    MatrixICE
    Tabitha Delzoun

These are the hardcore corp members that have been with us for months and months.

At the moment things are going well in the corp and we are saving perhaps 180-200 million isk per week for a new battleship bpo - our new found wealth is also making it easier to help out members with ships and stuff they need to take part in corp activity.

I am also in the process of moving the corp into a more role play themed corp - we are mainly a Minmatar corp with a few Gallante and Caldari exceptions and in the near future there will be chances of RP related combat along side CA members "The Peoples Front of Minmatar" corp where we will do battle with PIE corp (an Amarr pirate corp)

There will be a website located at: http://www.matthewsymonds.demon.co.uk/ where I hope to collaborate with corp members in it's design and construction.

We also hope to join an alliance (The Curse Alliance) for the first time after discussion and voting on our forum (www.mcorp.webhop.net) but we will only do this if it does not force M.Corp to change its style of play totally.

hmmm why did i just explode into that babble? I dont know - yet I do know that as far as im concerned its a case of the more the merrier and you will all be welcome.

    Vel

I'd be willing to offer a large proportion of that money to fund a campaign to make Nicholas Marshal's time as difficult as possible.

Like...say...10 milllion for 20 of his frozen corpses.

Don't you leave us Jedi! You mustn't! No! I won't allow it!

Seriously now, join Mcorp and stick around for a while. Some team-play might make it feel more worth-while again.

But sometimes there is just too much to do, and Eve is a cruel bitch, ever hungrier for more of our time!

It's a cruel world... me and the gf had a chat last night, in which she expressed her worry about me playing too much games, and not studying enough... and I only play Eve and Animal Crossing anymore!

I did manage to explain that I should be allowed to play lots on weekends:-D

The simple soloution is to have a chat with your gf and express how she is taking up too much of your gaming time.

Seriously though, just tell her you have thought about what she said and are quitting your job in order to study more.

I'm still active (just) and will apply to MCorp, if Velios et al are kind enough to take me. It's a shame Nich never gave back that isk, I would've donated my share if I was accepted.

I just made a "Nicholas Marshal is a Corp Thief" thread at the official Eve forums, General Discussion folder.

    Please keep it bumped:-)

    Will do!

It's reached a 1000 views now and most people seem to want him dead. Funny that. Reaping and sowing spring to mind.

I've stayed out of this, mainly because it saddens me that Nich turned out to be a bit of a scumbag. It was said earlier that INCOM split because of Nich's actions... to a degree that's true. At the very least it put a dampner on my gameplay (although I'm not saying that this lead to my departure by any means).

Nich, when you read this, please strongly consider giving the money back tonight. You can't really justify taking it, and if you've any sense you know that.

From the amount of heat that's coming down on you, I'd guess that you'll have to create a new character soon, otherwise you'll not last five minutes outside a station. Surely you have enough money to put it back, regardless of whether you can add that 'little extra' that you promised everyone?

Well, Lou hasn't been seen online since early December (unless he's made another character and is still playing as an evil pirate or something) but Eve is/should be fully playable on dial-up, since the server-side connection isn't any faster than that anyway.

Ooops, missed that the first time round.

EVE is perfectly playable via a 56k connection. I've never played it on bb, so I can't draw any comparisons, but from what I got told when talking to bb users, it doesn't seem to make a difference at all. EVE has been designed with 56k users in mind, or, like Huggybear said already, the server isn't faster anyhow.

Well, Lou hasn't been seen online since early December

    /feels guilty :-(

No need to feel quilty :-D

But you really should log on and see what it's like these days, a lot of things have changed. 7000+ players on at peak times, more than ever. That is, if you still have an active account (I think you've said you do?).

A word of warning though, the NPCs are BRUTAL now. Just killed two 500k battleship ones:-D

M.Corp never usually recruit this way, but now we find ourselves in need of members that want to join our rapidly expanding combat force. Traditionally, M.Corp have always been an independent corp of miners, producers, casual fighters and salesmen. We are now ramping up our combat division immensely for a variety of reasons which will become apparent upon interview.

M.Corp is looking for pilots who can dedicate regular appearances to the corp cause. You will be given the chance to learn and study with our most experienced combat pilots and will also gain access to knowledge passed down from some of the greatest and well known fighter pilots in EVE.

    Requirements for applicants.
Applicants must pass our pilot background checks (this is a security measure to try and eliminate spies within M.Corp)
Ability to communicate with Teamspeak is highly desirable. (successful combat makes using Teamspeak a necessity)
Teamspeak is a free downloadable application, all you need is an inexpensive headset microphone to get underway.
Understanding that when you join a corp, it is because you genuinely want to be a team player - we have no time for spongers. Every corp member is needed to operate as best they can for the corp, and I can assure you that as the corp does well, then so do our members.

There is a two week probationary period for new corp members, during which time we can assess your suitability as a pilot for M.Corp, however following a successful probationary period new members will be afforded the following principal benefits...

Total team experience, you will be an equal member of M.Corp, have a say in all major decisions the corp make and help shape the face of M.Corp.
Access to M.Corp Blueprints - need something made? we will help you manufacture everything you need for mineral cost, and in many cases subject to member standing we will simply supply you with what you need.
Permanent access to the M.Corp Teamspeak servers.
Opportunity to work with and learn from some of THE most feared and admired fighter pilots in EVE today, you will enhance your abilities as an combat pilot from day one - guaranteed.
Group 0.0 mining opportunities - prior to group events we agree that all mined material will either be for the corp, or will be split individually amongst all involved parties. You can be part of this.

If you think you might be interested in the opportunity to join M.Corp, please write to me.

    Many Thanks
    Velios

    Hello boys,

Am I the only one having trouble logging on to the tranq server?
The start up screen says that test is ok, but that tranq is down.
I know it's not the actual internet connection as other stuff works - like this post for example.

So is Eve broken? Or is it just me? :(

P.S. - Velios - don't worry about that Arma BP I asked for - got one already along with a further 2 Apoc ones ;)
