I had to "down" a table-spoon of Marmite at a student party once (don't ask!) and although I've eaten it practically every day of my life (except for 1 year "cold turkey" when I was living in Atlanta) a whole table-spoon all-at-once was quite horrible.

Ugh I could well imagine that. But as a lad brought up on a harsh regime of having to eat that fucking disgusting Vi-Rol stuff on a tablespoon, I could probably do it at a pinch.

One for the next chrimbo meet I spose.

Apparently not - and apparently they don't use the same rendering stuff they do in guinness to make this - just the yeast.

Big green V on the jar too.

I usually go through spates of marmite lust.

where I'll buy a jar and then eat it in such quantities that it'll butn my tongue, then I have to lay off it until the next time the lust takes over.

Marmite and loads of butter on Rivitas is nice. Dunno about crumpets, I would but I like them with golden syrup too much to try anyhting else. Maybe if I run out of syrup

I tried vegemite again the other day, it's alright but marmite all round kicks its arse

Yeah I don't get why Vegemite exists. At all.

Oh and Ryvitas with Marmite does indeed rule.

There's a great bit in Viday of Dibley when the mad old bitch makes what looks like a thickly iced chocolate cake, except its Marmite :)

82.6% of Eurogamers preferred Marmite. That's better than Whiskas people!

    This calls for a celebration.
