    So marmite chocolate bar.

I occasionally put chocolate spread on my marmite on toast, so I will definitely have me some of this when it's available.

This stuff is bloody marvellous. It's still around in most shops, so I'm hoping that it's not just a limited edition.

I couldn't tell the difference, but then I tend to scrape the stuff on anyway.

    Anyone tried champagne marmite? Horrible.

Yah the champagne one was the only variation that I couldn't tolerate. Despite trying to put on a brave face it's the only jar of marmite I haven't finished. Thread reminds me I must try and pick up the choc bar.

The marmite cereal bar is nice to begin with but eventually you wished you hadn't.

There's definitely a difference - the XO stuff is more powerful.

Champagne Marmite really didn't work, just tasted weird (probably doesn't help that I don't like champagne that much). There's a nearly-full jar of it still sitting in my cupboard.

Great isn't it?! It's still around in some shops, so I'm hoping it's now a permanent thing.

I found a jar in my cupboard from 2002 the other month. It was probably still edible, but wouldn't spread anymore, so I chucked it. The exploratory knife rebounded when I stabbed it =D

I like having the choice. Sometimes you need a bit more of a kick.

No, we don't like it because it violates our laws. As well as our delicate palates. Stupid bint.

Touché! Still, if they add in some marmite to their herring and radish stew they're in with a better chance of retaining it next year.

New Zealanders told to spread it thinner on toast to avoid shortages.
