Ahhh, back in the day, jumpers for goalposts, strange bearded men peering over the shoulders of children at another child, blinded by headwear and shuffling along to calls of: "Forward. Stop. Right. Stop. Pick up apple. Duck flying axe!
    Ooohh, nasty...

They don't make em like that any more.

We should, as with all our reminiscences, head to that most Wiki of all pedias, Wikipedia. Knightmare!

We used to have a regular who worked on the show. Where did he ever get to!

    Loved the show.

"You're in a room, OH FUCK THERE'S A FUCKING HUGE BOMB!!! RUN RUN RUN!"

They should so bring this back.

Apart from the series where they got lazy and had actors there and those shitty "walk slowly through some woods and run a crap palette-reduction filter over it" bits.

I have a divx of the first episode on my hard disk somewhere.

It was an incredibly frustrating show to watch.

I imagine i'd need a spectacularly rosie set of sunglasses to get much enjoyment out of it nowadays. I'll stick to my memories, it's much better in there.

I dont know if its still on, but it has recently been early morning hangover fodder on Challenge.

Most of my comments on it involve some variation of 'I hope s/he is watching this now, because that haircut is shameful'.

Treguard came to do Waiting For Godot at my college while I was doing A Levels. I was a huge Knightmare fan way before that but he was rubbish.

Yeah I saw it run out - the eyeballs sorta span round and came out spinning off into space.

    Neat!

    not sure dude.

I always thought how shit it would be to actualy be on that show.

being stood in a green room with a silly helmet on would kind of ruin the magic

It was always fun waiting to see if the silly tossers knew right from left! :D

Once they made a few mistakes it was just a matter of time...

Best. Show. Ever. I have several videos of it from when I was a kid, used to tape it religiously. Had a screaming tantrum in the car once because we were going to be late home and I'd miss the first ten minutes of that episode.

I applied to go on the show but didn't get on. I still have my Knightmare mug, plus the boardgame, sweatshirt, tshirt etc.

Sadly the last few series were not on a par with what had gone before.

    Awesome show. :oD

    No way!

    It was a blue room.

I always thought I would be great at knightmare. Every player just seemed frustratingly slow.

I heart her boobies but the lisp would have to go.

Christ, the pair of 'em lisp too - they must be drowning in spittle at Top Towers.

One of the EG oldies used to date her and got into a fist fight with Gaz once outside of the NEC (or was it london?).. I won't mention any names tho.

What was that show that was set in space, and towards the end they had to get across a grid with a vicious rubber plant?

You're in a room and you can see a table in front of you.

On it you can see a Wii, a 360, a PS3 and a lump of cheese

    Which one do you take?
