This is an honest straight-forward question, I'm not trying to troll or get anyone het up - but even the most ardent PS3 fan would admit that the next couple of months are looking a little light on new releases - even if it is summer.

I'm just looking at the release schedule page and it's looking like this:

25th May - Pirates of the Cab
25th May - Go! Puzzle
29th June - The Darkness
29th June - Harry Potter

and then June sometime GRAW.

I don't think the 29th June date for Eye of Judgement is right is it?

So strip out the multiformat film licenses and the Ubisoft reissues (which are of some interest) and are we left with The Darkness as the only big release "next-gen"-style till September or am I missing something?

Like I say, not implying anything to start a bun fight, I'm generally interested in any titles I'm missing out.

There is nothing preventing you from buying PS2 games, (unless you foolishly bought a PAL console) PAL releases are a bit sparse in the next few months but its happy days for importers.

Odin Sphere (Just released)
Dawn of Mana (Released today, might be a bit average though)
Atelier Iris 3 (End of May, mixed reviews)
Grim Grimoire (End of June)
Persona 3 (End of July)
Soul Nomad (September)

For lovers of the old ultra vi, Manhunt 2 will reach PAL land in June.

FFXII, GoW 2, RE4.

Maybe The Darkness, although right now I'm not sure I won't get it on 360 instead.

Tomb raider, God of War 2

I don't think anyone should be ashamed of playing PS2 games on a PS3. With upscaling sorted its a chance to revisit some classics.

Yeah, it's not bad for PS2 stuff and there's a bunch of games on my list that I'll make sure I pick up (Odin Sphere for damn sure thanks for reminding me of that).

I'm just keen to justify that price tag and my spanky new TV, before september.

Go! Puzzle and Calling All Cars for me, but in terms of full price titles it's looking worryingly like I won't be buying anything until October (and then bankrupting myself buying almost everything).

Singstar is out June 22nd which is something!

Other than will pick up Transformers in July if it's any good.

Also just noticed play.com are showing NG:Sigma as having a june 29th release.

Though there's not much on any system now until august! personally i'm not that bothered gives me some time to finish some of my current collection ready for september when just about every thing seems to be coming out!
