Dunno, but the voice controlo thing sounds strange to me, could work I guess. -

Registered 10 years agoEndWar is looking like a 360 exclusive at the mo - and the concept of the game is (from the sound of it) a lot different than your standard run-o-the mill RTS. Looking forward to it a lot. -
Show me some in game footage...

That showed absolutely nothing of the game. Typical Ubi trailer.

Don't even know how this game will play, let alone what it'll look like. -

I think its safe to say that the glowing interface-thingy that the commander is using will be represented in the game as well. But yeah - didn't exactly show what the actual game is going to be like.

Registered 7 years agoSurely Tom Clancy is the last person who wants war to end? He makes more money out of political conflict and civil unrest than, well, Bush jnr. -

Registered 7 years agoBy 360 exclusive you do mean it's coming to PC as well right? It's a RTS what kind of fool would not release it for PC? -
Voice activated - LOL.
I guarantee you that 'innovation' will either fall by the wayside or be implemented but in a much cut-down, nigh-on-useless form. I genuinely doubt a real time strategy completely voice-activated would be anything other than a complete mess. -

More then relevant I'm afraid, what with Putin and his 'Hitler' Youth.
t's a bit disappointing that the best they could come up with plotwise is "Russia gets all confident again" but it's still okay I guess, and kinda relevant again. -

In the latest EGM the guy in charge is directly quoted as saying it is fror Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. So not a 360 exclusive.

Registered 9 years agoon IGN i got the impression it was gonna be a MMO kinda game, then on Gamespot they said it's gonna be 12 people per game.
I already saw myself waging war with hundreds of my fellow Europeans against the sluggish masses of Russia and the fat yanks.
Now it's just 18 units vs 18 units.
damn it.

Registered 8 years agoRTS plus voice command, or you can use a newly designed control scheme on the pad, if you must. This gives a fairly good idea of how it will work.
They believe it will be more successful because it's being developed with consoles in mind, from the get-go - rather than porting across a PC RTS that's built with that platform primarily in mind. -

Registered 9 years agoI'm interested in this for some reason. I think it sounds like it might just work.
Voice command is a good way forward as long as it is used well. The other factor that has got me interested is that they are using a small number of squads and troops. This should make it much easier to control.
Do a good job Ubi, please! -

Not true (there are 3 factions, one of which is European) - but your analogy works anyway, as us Europeans are pretty damn 1337 at whining and grumbling over international matters, but not actually doing much.

What, just because we think that invading backward countries and bombing them to the stoneage for no reason whatsoever is not ethical? And apparently commenting on such imperialistic and downright criminal behaviour is whining and grumbling now?Xerx3s wrote:

I'm sorry, I didn't get the memo where we bow down & roll over for our new overlords.
Maybe us not doing much is because of - I don't know - experience? Because we know that if you invade a semi stable country such as iraq, you will create hell on earth and be responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths? For what? Some fake WMD's that never where there in the first place? Because the government needs you to stay affraid so it can push through new laws that 10 years ago where unthinkable?
If that makes me a whining bastard, so be it. At least I'm a better person than the rest of the sheep. -

As long as there is substance after the gimmick of voice command wears thin, I will be pleased. -

I don't care about the hype they're spreading, I just want to shout orders at tanks and watch things blow up. -
