It did. The game totally screws you on a couple of scenes to keep the secret hidden.

Don't forget spoiler tags when responding. I don't want to be responsible for ruining anything!

So what if Scott dies earlier in the game? He didn't in mine, but supposedly he could at least drown in the car. Not sure if there was possibility of death before the nightclub scene... Do they just have the whole climax without him? By the way, the spoiler I saw on release was that it was Ethan - which led me to wonder after I had finished the game if it was an alternate ending.

    What the fuck!

I go to play Heavy Rain for the first time and it wants to download a 1142MB update?! Jesus christ. Is the POWER OF THE BLU-RAY not even enough to cope with this game?!

    What a fucking joke.

You know you can just press circle to dismiss an update?
Just means you can't be online whilst playing.

    You dare to strike Scurrcules!?

THE ENTIRE GAME TAKES PLACE IN A HAMSTERS DREAM

probably more fun jumping in knowing nothing about it ;)

Yes. For me the start dragged but once it got going I really got into it, the concept and playing style was just so different after becoming tired of wall to wall FPS and racers it was the break I needed!

I've only played an hour or so, but I find it astonishingly good. It feels so fresh! The music is wonderful, the atmosphere is thick and oozing and what little story that's transpired is adult, serious and extremely compelling. I can tell it's going to be just brilliant.

Been playing this for the first time and it is truly awesome. For the first time in a game I feel totally immersed. I don't know how far in I am but I hope it never ends! :-)

Obviously not glaring enough 'cause I don't know what it is. And I don't want to! :-)

Im playing this myself for the second time at the mo. Im trying to actively do things differently this time round. Im just at the part where Ethans going to do the first trial. Out of interest if I just tell him to pussy out on the first one does he not bother doing any others?

^ no. You'll still do them

    Platinum'd this last week :)

A truly excellent game. Some dodgy plot holes, but I'd recommend avoiding any spoilers until after you've finished it.

Loved HR ( got the Platinum) but no real compulsion to play the DLC. I think I prefer to leave the game where the main story ended...

Tis a prequel bit, F_P. Has bugger all to do with the main story.

Pretty sure they already said there's no more DLC for it.

Aye, no more DLC, they abandoned that about five minutes after it was released for their next project.

I absolutely loved the game. In my opinion I think I've actually enjoyed it more than any other game i've ever played. I just wish there would be a sequel - maybe a big twist of the original story but with all the main characters (even with the killer making an appearance, even after his death going back in time).

I am gutted to think that these fantastic characters won't be used again. Especially when they draw you in so close, it's hard not to feel anything for them.

I waited a year or this and it just felt like a sub-par attempt at a choose your own adventure.

The creators were clearly trying to create a 'cinematic' experience but it felt more lie a media studies attempt at something good.

Yup I loved it to bits. The plot holes are a bit annoying but I can overlook them for the sheer entertainment I got out of it.

One of the few games where I finished it and immediately started it again. Will probably go back a third time and change it up again.

After Heavy Rain The Taxidermist, I really did expect to see more downloadable content. Is it too late? I hope not.
