Right, this has been driving me nuts all night. I have been trying to remember the name of a TV program that used to be on tv many moons ago.

Basically, it was the 80s or 90s (prob early 90s), it was on in the wee small hours of the morning on either ITV or Channel 4. You remember the sets of programs they used to run back then, some quality stuff.

It was a rock/metal music show, ran for about an hour and had some old long haired sod and his pet dog doing the intros. He always sat on a big leather sofa with a bad Windows Stars screensaver going in the background.

The phrase I always remember was "droogies, boozers, strumpets and losers... welcome to the cosmos".

Please, one of you peeps who remember that far back... Tell me you remember the show and what it was called.

    My sanity needs an answer...

Any sentence containing the words "retro TV program" should immediately be followed by...KNIGHTMARE!!!!

I'm sorry I know that didn't help in the slightest.

Sounds like a poor man's "Up for it"" with Eddie Temple Morris. What a legend. Zane Lowe has a lot to learn.

    Sorry, no help i know!

Thanks caligari, that sound right, my memory of it is very vague, what else can you remember about it?

I was looking for some clips, because i remember the fish being really rude, which i found hillarious at the time.

OK not exactly retro but trying to think of the name of a program that was on think it may have been BBC 1 or 2, prolly mid 2000s where 4 people were given national emergencies and had to decide how they would respond to each situation as it develops

Crisis Command. I was going to say Enemy Mine because that's hilarious, but decided to go for the likely real answer :)

Well at least you know now :) I didn't even remember T-Rex but I've definitely seen it, now I've watched that intro. And I'll probably watch the other intros on that YouTube channel too to enjoy some nostalgia.

OK, bit of a long shot, this, as I've tried multiple Internet searches.

Kids drama, after school program, UK, probably mid eighties.

Definitely BBC1 or ITV, around the time stuff by that Nesbit woman was on.

Bunch of children in a house. Also present were a load of "artificial" people made out of masks, raincoats, broom handles and so on.

In one episode the kids put on a little play or show for the artificial people.

    Any help appreciated :)

    I'll fire another out here:

Likely ITV, summer holiday mornings during the 80's. Young lassie with a small dog getting up to high jinx against a gaggle of mini-black-Darth Vaders, ruled by an incompetent, camp mini-white-Darth Vader, who all had flip heads and lazer guns for necks. Star Wars ripoffs continued with tri-winged shuttles the lass was always "borrowing".

    It's annoyed me for years......

No idea sorry. I do have a very obscure one I doubt even this thread will get, I can find not a single reference to it ANYWHERE even though I remember the name of it.

It was a show which had the title (and the theme song) Where Is It All Going Wrong?

It was individual stories about kids going through tricky situations, I watched it in school in about 1996. It looked like it was made either in the late 70's or early 80's (one kid had a parkour jacket). The music was very late 70's piano sounding with a shrill woman singing.

It came on a video, which had an intermission image which was something like a few pictures of kids faces in a row. It also had what I think was a production logo for an ITV company, either perhaps TSW or TVS.

I have never been able to find anything about it anywhere since I saw it...
