I'm pretty sure the best hangover cure is to not sober up completely. Have a drink next to the bed for when you get up to go to the bathroom, and start with one in the morning.

That being said, it does seem like greasy protein seems to help. Eggs and bacon are good, for instance...

actually it's carbohydrates that help, along with salt.

I've no idea how, but the gf and I dodged a hangover today. Up 'til 2:30am drinking wine and smoking for England and woke up today feeling fine.

I've got a horrible feeling that the hangover is just biding its time and will unleash itself at any moment...

I've struggled all day after going out for more than a few with my beer monster brother. There was a brief interlude when I felt ok after eating a very lovely and greasy chicken, cheese and red onion wrap, and loaded up on sugary drinks but have been on a downward spiral ever since. Didn't mix (prob had 10-12 pints) and it wasn't a late night either (midnight). Getting old is shit

I had an awesome time thanks! Absolutely shattered though. Decided to cut my trip short halfway through Sunday as I knew I wasn't going to make it through the day. Really hope they do another next year.

That's definitely not the start of a very slippery slope. Oh no.

Ugh. Head is pounding and throat is sore and dry. Room is spinning and I'm not completely convinced it's real. I can't stand up for more than 30 seconds before I feel like I'm going to come crashing down. And Iron Maiden are still ringing in my ears. It's awesome.

Just had my patented hangover cure, egg and bacon sandwich... with a fried slice between the egg and bacon and a dash of houses of parliament sauce... Awesome!

Ugh, i'm the most hungover i've been in years, following a work BBQ. I've just dragged myself to Asda to get something in for tea, and came away with six different packs of biscuits. Shopping fail.

No. Was a good setlist though. A great mix of old and new stuff.

Oh, fuck me do I feel bad.

Aikido, impromptu party, a dozen beers. I'm fucking knackered, and I've got work and aikido again today.

A bacon and BBQ sauce sandwich should help.

Now to find someone to make it for me.

    The booze is all carbohydrates...

I think it's accurate to say that different things work for different people.

I have so much to do today but all I can think about is my beer fever.

One of these days I'm going to have a hangover and the only cure will be 20 years of hair of the dog.

I feel fucking stinkin'. Only made it out of bed once to get a glass of orange juice. Hangovers are definitely getting worse later on into the day the older I get.

In terms of preventing hangover - a Berocca fizzy tablet in 3/4 pint of water before bed. If you forget, get it down your neck in the morning.

Sometimes I also have a pint (of beer) pretty much straight away with food the following morning - works brilliantly; it actually has science behind it (Google it, can't be arsed to explain).

    That is all.

Add me on Nintendo network! I'm 'Sy' or 'Sy_the_Brit_1982' (I've got US systems, hence 'the_Brit').

Red wine is the only thing that has ever given me a hangover.

    You pussies.

Trust me, I try this but after 15 pints and a bottle of red berocca ain't gonna do shit.

Nothing seems to work for me these days. Used to be a fry up was my best bet, now I have to sleep most of the next day! (not easy when you're at work)
