Registered 5 years agoStef has hit his kidney operation charity target with 117days to go, fantastic news. The new POS album is fucking incredible, rap album of the year in a year that El-P and Killer Mike both released absolute classics as well.

Registered 9 years agoI saw Pete Rock & CL Smooth last night, doing their 20 year anniversary tour for Mecca and the Soul Brother. They were fucking awesome. Micall Parknsun was the support act, he was good. -

Registered 10 years agoJust an FYI to the UK heads. The Aspects album "Correct English" which has been unobtainable for around a decade now has been re-released and is on itunes. A bonafide classic imo, and possibly the best ever to come out the West. -

Registered 10 years agoIt's definitely happening. They've just finished recording it and it's out in the new year. They did most of live at See No Evil. There's video on You Tube.
Also the re-release of Correct English has the Talk Force collaboration which wasn't on the original. -

Registered 10 years agoThe whole reason they've re-released is build up for the new album in fact. -

Registered 6 years agoWhile we are on the subject of middle aged British rappers, I bloody love the new Rodney P & Fallacy tune. It's not going to appeal to some of you guys on here who are just after the old boom bap but it's a huge tune.
Brap, brap, old chap.

Registered 10 years agoNew DJ Yoda is great. Really nice beats and some excellent features - MOP, Greg Nice, Sway, Roots Manuva and er...Boy George...
Also a SEGA tribute track on there. Amazing.
New ESSA EP (aka Yungun) also well worth picking up. Banging track with SkinnyMan and Inspector Deck featuring.

Made me less dismissive about the prospect of a new album from them at any rate.
