    Yeah Mystro's great.

The Mad Skillz ones are always good but not being a US sleb gossip follower I very rarely know what the fuck he's talking about.

    Nice :D

Two copies of We Don't Even Live Here, two shirts, less than $20 postage. Go Fifth Element. A bit of sense.

Ha not heard of anyone on this page.
    Is it all UK stuff?

My kind of mc (top ten)

    Scarface
    Nas
    Clipse
    Black thought
    J Cole
    Guru
    Jay z
    Rakim
    Mos def
    Talib kweli

Hmm no UK act there, only UK albums I got are by black twang, klashnikoff, dizzee rascal but they not close to the above list.
UK ahead in a lot of music genres but not hip hop.

Any good ones I should check? Only exposure I get is the occasional mtv base video or on the smaller channels like U. That is mostly all lethal bizz etc though, which I can't stand.

I recently made a playlist at the request of a mate who is only about 20 and so hadn't heard much UK Hip Hop, but was really into his Grime.

Seems a pretty good place to start if you are genuinely interested in it:
London Posse - Gangster Chronicle (1990)
Outlaw Posse - My Afros On Fire (1990)
Ruthless Rap Assassins - The Killer Album (1990)
Katch 22 - Diary Of A Black Man Living In The Land Of The Lost (1991)
Demon Boyz - Original Guidance (1992)
Taskforce - New Mic Order (1999)
    Mark B & Blade - The Unknown (2000)
    Skitz - Countryman (2001)
Roots Manuva Brand New Second Hand (2001)
    TY - Awkward (2001)
    Aspects - Correct English (2001)
    Braintax - Biro Funk (2002)
Jehst Return Of The Drifter (2002)
Foreign Beggars - Asylum Speakers (2003)
    Fallacy - Blackmarket Boy (2003)
Skinnyman - Council Estate of Mind (2004)
Klashnekoff - The Sagas of... (2004)
    Kyza - The Experience(2006)
    Chester P - From the Ashes (2008)

Can't wait for the Fashawn & Murs album.

So many great albums to look forward to this year and it's already been one of the best years I can remember for hip hop.

The new Casual & J. Rawls album came out yesterday. It's pretty damn good. Only a small handful of tracks I don't absolutely love.

New video (with Del) to accompany the release:

    Brap, brap, old chap.

I love the sound, but can never get past the thought that DOOM's lyrics are utter gibberish.

    Right?

I like him in places, but often his quality control is patchy, like he's trying to get everything he ever puts on tape out there.

New - sort of, but actually leaked unmixed ages ago - Blu & Exile album, Give Me My Flowers While I Can Still Smell Them should emerge today, in full form. Looking forward to it, their first record, Below The Heavens, is an absolute corker...
