No interest in either SSX or Road Rash.

What about Dungeon Keeper 3 or Theme Hospital 2.

There are many more games left to rot by EA I would also like to see.
We're getting a spiritual successor to DK. Very nice it looks too.

I hate to burst your bubble but road rash was a bit shit and would just about make a poor to average mobile game now.

I dunno. I don't really see why I game a like Burnout couldn't translate to motorbikes. A modern take on Road Rash sounds fun to me.

Heh, just realised I said exactly that back in 2007. Still a god idea.

There's already bikes in burnout isn't there?

They were a DLC thing I think. Worked well, but the game wasn't really designed with them in mind initially. A proper game based entirely on bikes would be fun.

@Boab just try a 3DO version to understand your misbelief. It's a classical game and it doesn't matter for me what a shitty mobile games came out using it's name. With modern technologies using only old-school mechanics the developer could made a golden game.

but you can't smash your opponent with a chain or club, you can't beat of the road a cow or granny like in Road Rash.

I don't really like the idea of having "old-school mechanics" whatever you mean by that. I agree that it was fun at the time but it's dated now, and I'd want more than just a pretty looking version of the old game - that sounds like a bad XBLA title.

Bikes are being unrepresented in things like NFS and Burnout and there's definitely a gap there, especially if you bring in weapons as well. Would much rather have a proper moden full-on game than some HD remake nonsense.

I can change it, maybe you have an example what to ask?
By old-school style I mean that you ride a bike with other 14 opponents (multiplayer will be great for this) on the track (not an open-world) using different weapons to win.

Still don't believe in Road Rash reborn? I've got something for all of you.
Message about Road Rash petition from Dan Geisler.

For me this message means, that he want to make a new Road Rash and nothing change his mind. What do you think?
p.s. you can read more about his work on classical parts of Road Rash on Reddit.
