I love those fuckers. As soon as anyone decides to do it to me I make it my life's work to hold them behind me for as long as possible. If I'm lucky my car is quicker so when they try to eventually undertake me I can keep them in the inside lane too.

Don't forget to allow them to overtake when you know there's a speed-camera coming up. Guaranteed they'd be such a pissed off alpha-male they won't see it and just want to show off....and get caught.

That kind of stuff is the main reason I get my shopping delivered. Can't stand supermarkets.

I hate people who hate things I find normal.

If you can read this you really need to fiddle with your forum settings.

Yeah, a cheery excuse me shifts people no bother.

What I do hate is that I always seem to get stuck behind awkward fuckers at the train station. My wife finds it quite amusing as I don't use public transport much so it winds me up. Last time it was some middle aged woman asking about all the different ways to get to London. How much they all cost. How many stops. What type of train it would be. What platform it leaves from... Then she didn't actually buy the ticket. Fuck off!

    I totally called it.

That just raises a whole other level of pet hates. You never manage to do a full shop and end up back there anyway, the food picked is always short dated, the replacements are always shit and you miss the end of aisle bargains.

I tried doing it for a while but getting a fridge full of food that needed eating the next day just enraged me. On the plus side, you donít impulse buy loads of shit you donít need (glares at the dozen bottles of various sauces Im never going to use in the back of the fridge)

Cyclists on pavements. Fuck off and use the road or a cycle path!

The world is going mad. Me? I'm doing fine.

While we're ragging on cyclists, I dislike it when there are two or three of them leisurely cycling next to each other whilst causing a massive queue of cars behind them trying to overtake.

Hmm, see, I used to be with you on that, but actually having become a regular cyclist, I've realised why some do it. Basically a lot of cycle paths have been put in dangerous places and are really unsafe to use. There's one through Archway which is lethal and I avoid at all costs.

So yeah, blame stupid road planners. And be more patient generally when driving, but then we've had this discussion a few times now...

I drive around with a bag of bricks on the passenger seat. Whenever I see I cyclist I wind down the window, pick up a brick and throw one at their head.

One time I managed to take their head clean off.

I also hate motorists who don't give cyclists room (assuming the cyclist is cycling in a reasonable manner)

Bottom line there are types of motorists, cyclists and pedestrians that I despise, and I am speaking as one of all three.

It really comes down to people more than anything. Again.

Decent point about the road tax. If anything that is now a tax on emissions - i.e. damage to the environment, which is why cyclists don't pay it. As you say, everyone pays for the upkeep of roads (or lack of).

People need to just think of cyclists as slow moving vehicles, and just be thankful that they're easier to overtake than tractors.

It's not the tax that worries me, it's the lack of insurance

There's a steep-ish hill outside my work and quite a lot of cunt cyclists get about 1/3 of the way up, run out of puff then jump off and push their teen mobiles up the rest of the way.

    I hate them the most.

That doesn't make them any less responsible for the financial implications of any damage they do though.
