Alien Crush, Columns, Mean Bean Machine, Gunstar Heroes, Pinball, Ristar, Soloman's Key and Urban Champion have all just gone live.

Just downloaded Gunstar taking my VC total to 4 (Sonic, Bomberman, DK Country and Gunstar Heroes), it's as mad as I remember it.

Hooray! Wasn't interested in the first wave of titles as I'd either played them or wasn't bothered.

Now there's two titles (Ristar and Gunstar Heroes) that I want.

As the good man Pac-man notes, now is the time to make good of those Wii points purchased in readiness. Things can only get better (or worse depending on the quality of the PAL release...) :o)

Gunstar has borders but runs exactly as I remember it on my PAL Mega Drive, any quicker and I would survive for even less time.

Amusingly I've noticed some people are complaining about slow-down in certain parts of Sonic...I despair sometimes.

Is there a release schedule anywhere? I really want DKCountry 2 and 3 - FAR superior to DK1.....

Am I a crazy dreamer for hoping Sega release Chu Chu Rocket as a downloadable?

I mean, if they managed to port it to GBA, it should be small enough - right? :(

If anyone has never played Solomans Key, I heartily recommend it - I used to play that bugger for hours and hours. Great little puzzler/platformer.

What are the chances of a pricecut? I would buy 3 times as many games if they were 50% cheaper. Like Sim City. I loved tat game on my dads Mac SEII but for 8 I'm not going to bother.

If you can read this you really need to fiddle with your forum settings.

Well, if you shop around, you can pick up Wii points cards for a lot cheaper than the RRP. Sensible idea giving the VC a separate points system rather than monetary value as if the Wii falls out of favour then the VC content will become dirt cheap :o)

Have you seen the price of Mario Kart Double Dash on Amazon?
    /rubs eyes in disbelief

    Some mistake surely!? o_O

No but seriously, you'll be able to shop around for Wii points online for decent prices soon enough as much you could pick up official accessories for cheaps that way.

surely that should be twice as many games if 50% cheaper, and 3 times as many game if they were {approximately} 66% cheaper? :-) or something ;-)

No, he's saying if they were half the price he'd buy proportionally more, so theoretically Nintendo would make more money out of him.

Of course there would be fixed costs which probably set the prices to what they are now, so in reality it probably wouldn't pan out.

sorry - I was just trying to lighten the friday mood on here with a bit of pointless shite :-)

IGN is an American site. They will have reviewed the NTSC version, whereas we will be getting the PAL version, which runs about 17% slower (as all our Virtual Console games do).
