    Hi all,

I'm playing in a work pub quiz tonight, with some germans. Their 'hilarious' suggestions for team names are utter cack. Unfortunately I'm not doing much better - does anyone have suggestions?

I won a quiz in a team called Sharp as Jupiter once. And as the Smeg Heads.

We've used Crouching Woman, Hidden Cucumber a few times. That normally raises a laugh!

I think we pinched it from this site.

'On the sniff' was another but thats only funny if you knew the people in the team. And if you find that kind of thing funny.

"Soapy Titwank" was one of my favourites. Later had to be changed to "Moist Mammary Masturbaters" to avoid "offending" people.

we quite often name our quiz team after celebrities who have passed away like:

Deaddie Guerrero (when the wrestler Eddy Guerrero had died)

    or

RIP Ronny Corbett (when Ronny Barker died)

it's not big and it's not clever, but it is quite funny :)

I had loads of great names from my old pub quizzing days but typically i can't remember them now. I know some of them were to do with either Kylie Minogue or Mark Knoppfler but it was the late 80's so i'm forgiven for my memory lapses. "Kylie's Jockstrap" maybe?

A while back i asked my mate what name we wanted and he said, ah the same as last weeks will do. So being a sarcy sod that's what i put and we've used it since, "The same as last week." makes us giggle anyway.

    This signature intentionally left blank.
