|After a night exploring the possibilities of King's Ginger, with the ingredients of Angostura Bitters, Canada Dry Ginger Ale, Adsa Full Fat Tonic Water and Netto 3yr Blended Whisky to hand, I have recokoned that the best combination is an equal measure of King's Ginger and Netto Whiskey with a dash of bitters, topped up with tonic water is the best mix. Ginger ale was recommeded in the recipe book that came with the king's ginger but I'll have to find another use for that. The recipe book had two decent recipes; king's ginger, bitters and ginger ale OR king's ginger and speyside single malt. I have a few islay malts to hand and I shall be trying them forthwith (will be my last drink tonight though), but I don't think they will do for recreating the original recipe - I'm trying something new instead. Question is, bitters or no. Recommendations?|
