    A quick search of the forum doesn't turn up a GTA:VCS thread of it's own - rather ones talking about new screens, etc. Let me know if one is about and I'll delete this.

    Until then here is the IGN review

    I'm looking forward to this, if just for the multiplayer

    Rather bizarrely my copy turned up this morning (from HMV)

    But I didn't bring my PSP in...DOH!

    I'm really looking forward to it, although Vice City was my least favourite of the three 3D GTAs.

    O_O !! Really? Does this consitute a breaking of the street date, like last week's PES6???

    Anyone seen Woolies selling it yet? If so I'll pop down to game and ask them to cough up

    I dunno but that's twice in a row a Rockstar title has turned up early (Bully did last week).

    Looks and sounds great, and the manual is up to rockstar's usual fine standards. 80s cheeseothon!!! YAY!

    Damn right, you know what I actually preferred the PSP version to the PS2 port...

    But aye, first impressions will probably be up on AATG tomorrow with a bit here too...

    Damn...of all the days to leave my PSP at home.

    First reviews seem to suggest it's... nothing special. Like LCS, but better. Which is good enough for me.

    Nothing special? LCS is pretty much the best game on the PSP

    City looks a little bigger from the map but it's difficult to tell.

    If there are airboats in there as it seems to suggest, I think I'm going to cream 'em.

    Graphically, it looks like it could be a slight step up from GTA LCS but it's difficult to tell. Stuff looks slightly crisper and more detailed...

    Dammit I am so annoyed I didn't bring my PSP in, specially as I get to stay in at lunch and cover the office today.

    In my opinion...no. There are other games which are much better suited to the portable format. Still a good game, though, which is why I am looking forward to playing VCS.

    Though I wonder if the map is still flat like it was in the original? That would be a bit of shame after LCS.

    Not yet, nothing in the manual about it but I am guessing it's going to upgrade to 2.81 or whatever the last flavour Sony were pushing was...

    There's a new Devhook due out very soon that should be able to play it.

    The hooky versions supposedly works fine with devhook now. Will test in a few hours...cough..when I feel like it.

    hmmm, that IGN review is strange - gooes on and on about how there is nothing very new there, and all the minor flaws that have been present in all the previous versions... then gives it a 9/10 score.

    No wonder I don't read the site very often...

    LOL - expect the same everywhere. It's seemingly impossible to give a Rockstar game less than 8.

    Peej, any word on the full soundtrack? The 3 song per station setlist that has been teased seems pretty solid. I pray the music to be as memorable as it was for Vice City.

    requires firmware 2.81 so i won't be purchasing...

    unless pro evo 6 also needs that firmware in which case i might just upgrade

    Can't see either of those, annoyingly.

    BUT you can put your own choons in a la LCS. So it's not all bad.
