i watched HIGNFY last night and i have not seen it in a few weeks. Gordon looked well undomfortable at times to say the least. And the thing that surprised me quite a bit was the devils sperm (aka ian hislop referring to Paula yates' description of him a few years ago) was on the roll! As a guest presenter Ramsay was shite. I mean they took the piss out of him for ...'would you mind terribly! and that awfully nice fella who is so well spoken? jamie oliver!! i hope that ramsay does not get invited again as i did not enjoy it from his part. But Merton even went as far to warn him when he said "i've been doing this for years mate better keep your head down" because when merton starts he really starts. but gotta say, ramsay got ripped apart on last nights show.

About Hattrick? Ahhh i was being lazy and wondering if there was a website that gives you a list of shows :)
Try these people. They do get Hattrick shows but I don't think they get many tickets, or at least they go quickly when they do.

I know he's an ass but I actually felt a little sorry for Ramsay.

Although he killed his children's turkeys, so I can't REALLY feel sympathetic towards him. ;)

I watched it last night and I thought it wasn't nearly as good as the live recording. They missed so much out! And Gordon came of so lightly in the program. He seemed much more nervous than that and got a much bigger beating.

Things also seemed greatly out of context last night too. They didn't actually show Gordon saying "if I make 6 mistakes, you can all have a free meal" so when he did actually make his first, it felt a bit odd to me. The same goes for the final picture round where the guy is standing on the ladder - the joke was completely misplaced.

There were many running jokes that were stripped down to a single joke and the main part was when Merton said: "I've been doing this for years Gordon". Again, this was basically the final comment concerning the ongoing battle between Gordon and Paul - about 15 minutes before that, Gordon has called Merton a "cunt" and accused! Hence, Merton's reaction.

It was still entertaining, but compared to other shows I've watched I wouldn't say that was particularly editted well.

It was shown just before the opening titles on Friday. Don't know if was there on the Monday repeat, but I'd be surprised if they took it out.

Oh ok, sorry about that. I recorded it and must have chopped that bit off. Nice bit of editting by the sounds of things tho.

Alistair McGowan should be the perminant chair/host in my opinion, that was one of the best shows I have seen.

Not as good as Angus, but probably the best one I've seen so far!

Lets face it - he could just do an impression of Angus really!

Get Boris Johnson back on, or Bruce Forsyth and his Play Your Iraqi Cards Right.

I always used to ignore it and never saw the appeal until the Angus Deaton is it? stuff blew up in the news, then saw his last show where they ribbed him, then started watching it properly with the guest presenters. It is great, and can be the funniest thing ever when on top form.

I was just scanning the TV listings and found HIGNFY with tonights guests:

"...guest host Alexander Armstrong. Charlie Broker and Ross Noble are the guest panellists"

Should be hi-larious, assuming a) Charlie Brooker is as funny as his writing and b) Alexander Armstrong is who I think he is

edit: ... yes he is. OK he himself isn't awesome, but at least he's proven to be a non-shite guest host.

Alexander Armstrong is my pick of the guest hosts. He's ace.

I'm also very much looking forward to seeing Charlie Brooker on there. His TV review show was excellent.

Yea, still Bailey and Phil. Presenter now is Simon Amstell who is really good. Look up Youtube, some funny highlights from the last series.

Cool, Kirtsy Young, she is good on HIGNFY.
