    Blimey, I must have been having a shit week when I started this thread. :)

    Although I might just moan about stealth postal charges at check out. Half the stuff they say is in stock with them, is actually a seller. No free postage - and some of the charges are extortionate.

    I'm never going back to them for pre-orders though.

    Blimey, that's brave....! Only ever buy cheapo tat from the marketplace. Even then I've had a couple of fakes, I'm sure. Like the Sennheisers that fell apart after 3 days.

    Tempted to buy a monitor from an Amazon Seller - Used (Like New) - the seller has 92% positive rating from over 7000 ratings.

    They state "Outer Box Damaged - Not suitable as a gift" and they're basically selling it at close to half-price. I've sent them an email to enquire if only the box packaging is damaged coz it seems like a good deal.

    Just what to check with you guys regarding Amazon's return policy. I can send anything back within 7 days if I'm not happy right?

    I have been trading in games to amazon for about a year now with no problems. My last two trades have been really slow but I eventually got my credit.

    However I sent them a console in late July that I was expecting over 100 pound for and still nothing. It has expired and I am really annoyed as I sent it recorded delivery - and I have e-proof they signed for it too!

    They are still trying to say it got 'lost' They have credited me the middle amount (what I submited) but I was expecting 'like new' which would have been a few quid more.

    I lovingly packed my console which took half hour to work out how to fit it all in without it looking like it was pregnant. The same amount boxing it up with tape and bubble wrap. It feels like they have done me a favour but I still feel robbed of my console.:mad:

    Sounds like an amazing bit of customer service to me. Not sure what your problem is.

    Took a month to get it sorted. Potentially 30 less credit and finally one of their Noram staff nicked my stuff!

    Huge shame as they offer brill prices sometimes and I still got loads of stuff I want to trade but now will steer clear.

    I did not want them to sent it back because there was a bit of dust on it etc..

    You have to assume that the person dealing with the product is a bit thick. I once sent them ME3 with a post it note inside saying that no copy of the game has a manual (on the disc). They ignored it completly and sent it me back!

    So you submitted is as lower quality than 'like new' and then when things go wrong you expect to get 'like new' pricing?

    Why would they value it higher than you obviously did?

    I am certain I would have got like new if it had gone through legit. I have sent products before and they have been upgraded.

    I would have prefered if they had just processed my stuff normally in around 2 weeks and I got the middle amount. What I am most annoyed about is they keep saying RM lost my stuff which they did not. It was in their possesion.

    I am not the first its happend too just take a look at their own forums.

    They don't send it back if you don't want it to. They just downgrade.

    I can't really see what you have to be annoyed about. Yes it's irritating they lost they item but they paid you the full amount you claimed. That's good service

    All I'm hearing is 'I submitted a console for trade as 'good' and although it seems to have been lost they eventually gave me the money I was promised at the start'.

    If you want the 'as new' amount, trade it in 'as new'. There are guidelines for trading, just make sure it complies with them.

    Maybe if I had used a new company I would be pleased with this outcome but I would never touch them again. However this is Amazon who I use frequently and would like to in the future.

    They sent everyone an email about two months ago saying they were well aware of the problems they are having and how they will fix them...

    If at first my compaints (to amazon) don't suceed I will complain, complain and complain again and then give up!

    Delivery seems to be getting worse. Placed two different orders this week both guaranteed next day delivery, neither of which have actually arrvied the next day. I could be really unlucky I suppose.

    I no longer get deliveries to my house as I'm fucking sick of the driver just throwing them at my door without even knocking / ringing. Probably wont be long before I stop ordering altogether.

    Bloody hell. The other half bought something very similar to this. Note that the description specifies "pack of 3". This led us to assume that there would be 3 boxes.

    Today, we got a box. Just one. We contacted Amazon about this, assuming it was just an error and they offered us a 15% discount. Pretty insulting. Looks like we'll have to return it and go for a full refund.

    I just can't believe they bothered to offer a 15% discount when 66% of what was ordered did not arrive. I'd almost expect this from an Amazon marketplace seller, but this is Amazon themselves (albeit the Amazon warehouse crap)

    Amazon deliveries have been getting steadily slower. CD dispatched on Monday to work still hadn't arrived by yesterday. In fairness it was free delivery but it never used to take the full five working days. Have had to chase two orders with Marketplace sellers recently too.
