Does anyone have any uber knowledge on how you can watch this weekends Bravo/Gracie rematch at Metamoris 3?
Doubt very, very much it's on TV, is there a stream anywhere?

@mcmothercruncher you can get access to the official live stream for $20, but no idea if their streaming will be any good.

Looks like 174 is gonna feature Woodley vs MacDonald. Man vs Boy.

Sad to hear that Cody McKenzie's been released :(

Oh shit, GSP's torn his other ACL. No chance of seeing him come back for at least a year then.

GSP v Silva in a "no kicking, seriously" match in 2015.

Cheers Craigy, I passed, just in case it was one of those streams you pay for and it's a horror show.

It's here, though, if anyone's interested. Won't spoil it, but very, very intense match.

Watched the Bravo/Gracie match last night -- if the rules meant the game had to go to a decision I think Bravo would have gotten the nod. Never seen an Electric Chair submission attempt before!

Winner should get a shot @ Hendricks

It was insane, wasn't it? I don't think Royler saw it coming, Bravo has some interesting tweaks to the more standard Gracie style. Royce continued the predictable familial poor sportsmanship after a loss by confronting Bravo behind the scenes after too.

Yeah it was good. Nog should hang it up. He's the same age as Big Country but looks two decades older than him.

Did you watch the Nijem fight? That was a good one.

Two more events this week, too: Bisping vs Kennedy on Wednesday, then Werdum vs Brown on the weekend. Keen to see how Werdum has developed in the last year or so.

Holy shit. The woman on the right won gold at the BJJ Worlds but had her title stripped after testing positive for Clomiphene.

    Wanderlei Silva for scale.

    Does she even lift bro?

That's really quite harsh. Clomiphene as I understand it does very little in terms of a PED, but it does help conception (but dare I say, part of fertility problems could be due to other substances used - much like TRT).

On another topic - really hoping Bisping gets banjoed tonight.

    Bisping vs Kennedy: Bah.

Dustin Poirier is so entertaining. I love that guy.

That's the problem with Bisping- much better wrestling than a lot of European guys, but, if he happens to be paired with a guy with the right combination of strength/leverage/whatever to be able to hold him down, he's fucked.
You just know he isn't going to negate the scoring gap by getting the knockout.

^ That gif is priceless :)

What fucking weight class does she fight in?

Romero manhandling Tavares like that, man, future champ. In any fucking weight category he likes.

Awesome quick, slick 'jitz from Cowboy.

Did anyone else notice, in the close up shots pre-fight, Carmouche literally has sideburns? You know, to go with the slightly suspicious muscular build and acne?
Pleased Tate got the win she needed at this stage, probably a bit of a gatekeeper from this point onward but always so game.

Speaking of which, Browne has more heart than most, but he met a more natural, technical striker Saturday night- would never have imagined myself saying that about Werdum a few years ago. With his jiu-jitsu base, he could be a real handful for Velasquez. A worthy opponent standing and, even if Velasquez opts to wrestlefuck him, extremely dangerous on the ground.
  • Deleted user 22 April 2014 18:47:26
Cain can just as easily wrestlefuck him against the cage Randy style. Werdum's cardio lasted 15 mins in a fight he was comfortably controlling, I doubt he can handle 2 rounds of Cain.

He can, and he probably will, aye, that will absolutely be his gameplan.
It's interesting though, when your ground game is as good as Werdums, how freeing that is to get creative and take risks striking. It'll be an interesting fight.
