I'm glad Ferguson won, if only for Lee's ultra cringeworthy entrance walk.

Was a really good card on the whole, the Vanata Green fight being the highlight. DJ is a beast.

Brilliant finish by DJ is a shame he doesn't get more plausible praise.

Was my praise not plausible Bob?

Your praise is the most implausible praise I've seen.

I understand why DJ isn't talked about more but it isn't his fault the division is wafer thin.

Its really not wafer thin, it would be pretty competitive if DJ wasn't so ridiculously good. He is so tiny its hard for him to go up a weight class.

Aiming for mildly plausible with that.

I don't see anybody in that weight class who can beat him. He is that good.

OK I can manage plausible, if DJ was thrown into a salt water swimming pool with a great white shark he would submit it within 4 minutes.

Also Craigy those aren't full sentences.

@Frogofdoom Lets not forget that DJ used to fight at a higher weight class and was the clear #1 contender, only losing to Dominick Cruz in the UFC, before they created the BW division. He could easily go up a weight class and compete with the best, but he wouldn't be so ridiculously dominant as he is at his natural weightclass when competing against bigger and stronger men.

Yeah the 135 division has changed a lot in that time though. There are now guys that easily weigh 150lbs come fight night there as well. I just don't think it suits him to go up there.

But could he beat a man who had guns for hands? I'm not so sure.

What if he had the head of a tiger and like hooves for feet?

Both of those seem like real weaknesses in the world of MMA.

You've obviously never been kicked by a hoof.

Has everyone seen that horrible Daniel Lima Pancrase weigh-in? It happened last week, but it's making the rounds now. I'm not going to embed the video, because not everyone will want to see someone who's practically catatonic being dragged onto the scales, and painstakingly positioned in such a way that he won't immediately topple over when they let go of him.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vBhLPqxT0w

Even with that, he missed weight by two pounds. I have no idea how they let him fight, or how he lasted the full 15 minutes the next day (he lost to decision). It makes me wonder what it will take to finally change the way weight-cutting is done. Deaths haven't made much of a difference. If footage like this doesn't change it, then what's left?

I don't know why they do it. Well, I do know why they do it, but there's countless fighters who have moved up saying man, those weight cuts damn near killed me, I feel so much better closer to my natural weight. Look at Rumble for one.

From 170 to coming back as a heavyweight, its still mental he ever weighed that.

Anyone watched the Bisping/GSP presser? That shit was hilarious.

@craigy Bisping's a good laugh, he's just so full of shit. I thought yesterday's presser was far better than the first one, he was really getting at George this time.

Did you see Bisping going up to George backstage after the fact, telling him not to put his hands on him? Lol, I'm certain that was just more attempted mental warfare

In just a couple of minutes, Frank Shamrock will be having a grappling match with Sakuraba

    Edit: it was uneventful

What's everyone's predictions for Bisping Vs GSP then?
Gsp is a legend but he's been away for quite some time. I'll go for Bisping via decision.
