Not staying up and i will see if i can find it in the morning. I might just read the reports tbh as i dont want to pay for it because im morally against giving Mayweather my cash.

Not expecting anything much from it anyway so no intention of fucking up my sleeping pattern as i have to be up early Monday morning.

What's amazing to me is how the mainstream are covering the fight. Heard adverts for it on ClassicFM, of all places, plus this morning Dermot O'Leary was giving his dreary analysis of the fight on Radio 2. Discussing MMA fighters on Radio 2! And they didn't even refer to MMA as human cock-fighting! Mad times.

I'll probably try and 'locate' it first thing Sunday morning.

I've got all my channels for it all setup ready. Just need to set my alarm and get up early doors and watch it.

I usually get stuff from the "core" mma site but that's always after the event. Are there any reliable live ones that won't inject Russian krokodil into my eyes?
    PM if sketchy :)

Normally get something from reddit with a google search for boxing streams or mma streams. Havent needed to for a while though so it may have dropped off a bit.

I got that estimation wrong- think it's about 4am you'd need to starts listening/watching to be safe. On balance, I think I choose sleep.

Stephan Bonnar and some tramp who's pretending to be Phil Baroni talk about the UFC helping cover up Jones's drug taking and/or Jones being framed by the Fox network(!) and homo USADA people and their new bitcoin/neckbeard strip club... and, yeah.

Business as usual I hope. Unless he really wants to be 0-5 in boxing or something.

No point in him staying in boxing tbh. The only fight i could see making any waves is the GGG fight and he will get starched horribly if he took that.

I hope this talk of him fighting Paulie doesn't come to much.

Its just a nothing fight, it wont generate much in the way of ppv revenue and Paulie looked dreadful in his last fight.

I don't follow boxing and I had never heard of Paulie before all this drama. Everyone knows Floyd, and everyone knows Conor which is why this fight was so hyped. I don't think Joe Public will care about Conor vs Paulie, and if it does happen for whatever reason, Conor would definitely be 'the A side'. I really hope it doesn't though. He should go back to MMA.

The problem is he knows he can make way more money boxing than he can in the UFC.

But how long can that continue with a losing record against lesser known boxers? One and done must be best for his legacy because he would just keep losing, and who's going to be interested in paying to see him lose for the 5th time on the bounce.

I reckon he will finish the diaz trilogy before anything else if he comes back.

He got pretty soundly beaten to be fair. He punched himself out and was stopped whilst never having mayweather in any notable trouble.

By the very best of this generation?
    Sure. No shame in that.

Oh no shame in it, it just showed it for the total mismatch that it was. Boxings point was that he had no real right to be there and he didnt do too much to disprove it. His power doesnt seem to translate over and his stamina is questionable so he wont be making waves in the sport. Noone has ever said Conor cant fight, just that he cant compete with the best boxers. If he wanted to go in and have a go at working his way through the rankings nobody would take issue with it, its that he went straight in to the elite status that he didnt deserve or show that he is a part of.

If you expected him to get decapitated in the first round, and that doesn't happen, then to me that says more about your expectations than it does about his skill level. He fought about as well as you'd expect someone in his position to fight, but that doesn't make him competitive. You don't have some sprinter challenge a champion long-distance runner to a marathon, lose badly, and then say "oh, but he was leading in the first few miles, so he did pretty well!".

Guy was never going to win, yet was given a chance that other, more experienced boxers could only ever dream of. Because money.

Boxing's point was that it was a farce, but those goalposts are being shifted already. He was supposed to look like a clown in there yesterday, be embarrassed- this morning he's being judged by the same standards of Mayweathers other boxing based opponents.

He was in there with a shot, he landed cleanly several times and properly rocked Mayweather late on. Beyond round four/five you could see how it was going to go but who amongst the naysayers would have even expected him to win a round? He won a third of the ones fought. To say he didn't deserve to be in there baffles me.

He won the rounds mayweather didnt fight in and allowed him to gas himself out.

Floyds choice to sit back and minimise risk and McGregor's skill to land what he did during that period. Mayweather didn't willingly eat that uppercut.

To be fair, that wasn't a contest. It never got that far. More fool to Aldo though as he ran into Conor's fist.

Chael Sonnen, speaking to Helwani, claims he has inside information "the same information I think you have Ariel" that Diaz/McGregor III is the plan for December.
