If you want to be snarky, the original Star Wars trilogy is a prequel to The French Connection (just set far, far away). And Gladiator is a prequel to Cruel Intentions.

Yes, I know what a prequel is Fantomex.

LB, you really are a massive geek.

    You have two choices:

    1) Join in with the current conversation

    2) Continue to whine like a little bitch

I've got Rorschach because of Azzarello. Gonna get Comedian for the same reason.

Was that post a prequel to this conversation.

@figgis, hah yes, I remember that name, just checked him on google images.
1960-1985 was a real golden age for British humour comics.

A decent anthology series would be great for kids today.
Buster, Cor!!, Whizzer and Chips, there was loads of them.

    Anyone remember Faceache?

The boy has got into Spiderman, he's currently watching the 67 series on Netflix. Spidey only has 6 legs on his outfit. Old news to most I'm sure but it took me by surprise.

That's fucking amazing. That is the first time i've read something where Batman genuinely sounds afraid.

I want Klaus Jansen to sign to DKR first prints. I also want to meet Alan Grant: one of my favourite writers.

I want to fly over for it. Just need to drag some poor uninterested soul along with me to take the necessary photos. :)

Brian Bolland did like one (massively overrated although the artwork is nice) Batman comic.

Adams rescued Batman from the campy TV show of the 60's, and transformed him into his present, “Avenger of the Night” persona. His run led directly to the realistic incarnation seen in the “The Dark Knight” movies.
    Fuck you, Adams.

Didn't he do the Batman vs Dracula trilogy? They were pretty good.

That line-up isn't final. More names announced within the next few days, so they told me (via Twitter).

Love Bollands work, I've got a signed Joker sketch from him( my sister knows him).

He's slow apparently, that's why he does covers mostly. He did Camelot 3000 in full, that gets a bit rough at times.

Yeah, Bolland rocks. I have The Killing Joke and his Judge Death collection that I'd love to get signed.
