Deadpool is vol4 because he had two miniseries before the Keyllo series.

The first, Deadpool: The Circle chase (vol. 1) was a 4issue mini and was the first gig Joe Mdureira got with Marvel, the second (just called Deadpool, vol. 2), Kelly's run (vol.3), then vol. 4 starting Secret Invasion.
You're the first person I know who can keep up with Marvel/DC numbering systems. That shit annoys me so hard. :(

Kingdom Come is 7 an issue on Elol. Why has that suddenly dropped in price I wonder?

Doesn't matter, get it. Excellent comic and one of the few willing to deal with the superhero/human equation in a very direct manner.

Years of practice! The Avengers titles is where it gets really complex, mainly because of the godawful Heroes Reborn period and the subsequent marvel habit in more recent years of endlessly restarting the various series at #1. Thor is particularly bad for this.

Found all 4 for 24 incl p+p to Denmark. Hopefully no-one will have bought it come payday.

Wait, I just noticed. 7 per issue? They're single issue format? Wow, that is dirt cheap then. Normally with Kingdom Come the paperback or hardcover edition tpb is all you find. I'm partial to the hardcover edition in particular as its an excellent piece of work with extra pages not in the issue format and tons of behind the scenes stuff.

    Excellent comic regardless.

    @khaz

Thanks for the comprehensive Deadpool summary! :) Will definitely give Cable and Deadpool a go, still remember Cable Fedexing Deadpool home in a box, should make things interesting!

Just finished reading X Force with Deadpool, was very good. But not really worth it for a Deadpool fan, the writer clearly has a hard on for Fantomex, Deadpool spends half the series either unconscious or dead.

Trust me, keep reading. That Fantomex comment just made me laugh pretty hard considering what happened recently.

Again, a bit obvious, but I can heartily recommend Promethea - books 1, 2 and 3.

As I'm on a bit of a Moore binge at the mo, I also picked up the complete 'Future Shocks' from the library, yesterday. Lovely little nuggets of eerie sci-fi goodness.

Have you read his Captain Britain run? It gets pretty weird, but its worth it. Classic 80's British comics :-)

Ah, cheers DM. Funnily enough a work colleague was talking about this a few days ago. I'll track it down.

Gonna start on Promethea soon. Finished all of Tom Strong and that was fucking brilliant; in fact its so good i'm currently debating it entering my top 5 super hero series. Just polishing of V for Vendetta currently too and its surprisingly good, not as morbid as I thought it would be.

Great to hear, Khaz - again, I'm preaching to the converted here, but you really should check out 'Top 10' (if you haven't already).

It's a police prodecural comic about a precinct of powered cops in a city where everyone has powers. It's very, very good.

Also, if you are on a Moore kick (and even if you're not) you owe it to yourself to read marvelman (aka miracleman for trademark reasons).

It's my favourite work of his by a distance.

    Not really available though.
I read it via cd, and it is great.

Anyone read The Lost Girls? I get tempted now and again.

Thanks for the recommendation - I'll try to track it down. The Lost Girls sounds...interesting, too.

Just finished book 2 of Promethea - it really is mind-bendingly good. I even managed to enjoy it whilst running a temperature and squirting my guts out.

The only downside is that my life will not be complete without a stand-alone 'Weeping Gorilla' series, which revolves around a self-pitying 'emo' gorilla.

Some of the billboards/sequences in which he/she/it appears have made me 'laugh out loud':

My oldest has got a man-crush on Green Lantern so I'm adding the comic to my monthly sub. He can't read but he wants to look at the pictures. If he loses interest I'll just cancel.

    Does anyone read it?

(Also, does anyone have 'Tec #871-873 they want to sell? (first prints) )

I'm subbing Rorscach as it's Azzarello/Rizzo, but it hasn't arrived yet. Feel a tiny bit dirty doing it though as it's really cynical from DC.

The Minutemen one seemed okay, Ozymandias was okay, Silk Spectre is awful(the art is in WTF territory). Not picked up the rest, and by picked up I mean stolen.
