Excellent scenes at Milan as Berlusconi seemed to fire Allegri and the rest of the coaching staff on live telly. BUT Milan have issued a statement that Berlusconi's statement wasn't real. Or something.

It's about time that transfer was finalised, it's another one of those where we all know it's going to happen. Same with Mourinho to Chelsea.

Haven't watched Neymar that much in all honesty, any chance his presence puts Cesc's place in the team in doubt?

    /crosses fingers

According to Balague it's been done for ages, the only issue is whether he transfers this summer or after the World Cup next year.

There's no guarantee it'll work out, Messi has struggled to work with many forwards. David Villa was one of the best in the world when he joined Barca and that never quite worked out. Messi and Neymar is quite a scary proposition on paper for sure, but then again Barcelona have already reached the top so how much worse (for everyone else) could it get?

Also remember Neymar is unproven in Europe, could take a while to adjust. Villa has been misused/underused, which is a shame but it's another club's gain when he is inevitably moved on.

Obviously the key problem when going to Barca is you have to accept everyone is second fiddle to the Messi-ah.

Villa hasn't been misused or underused, really. He was in the best form of his career in the 10/11 season, but he broke his leg in December 2011.

Hasn't been the same player since.

I see poor Benfica have just thrown away ANOTHER trophy. So close to a treble and have lost the lot within a matter of days. All to late (80 mins+) goals I believe.

Neymar isn't in Messis class imo. Who is? I guess, but still; he's going there with the pressure that he will develop into Messi 2.

Looks like he has an ego bigger than Ronaldo and a child's sneeze could knock him over. Can't wait to see his dive and complain routine when his step overs don't work.

Guess it didn't work out for Sanchez.

heh, Robihno was the same. Too lightweight as well

    Neymar is talented as heck.
But he'll just be Messi's understudy.

Confirmed on Dutch TV that Juve players were doping before the CL final in 1996 vs Ajax which they won.

Apparently Ibra has said he'll leave if Ancelotti does.

Also Kevin De Bruyne from Chelsea to Dortmund apparently. Did he even ever play a single game?

And they are not even guaranteed to be in the Ligue un (shrugs) next season.

In fact I hope that lot play in Ligue deux (eats a croissant)

    That'll learn em

I have a feeling he could go a bit 'Robinho'. It'll be interesting to see how he copes with being a small fish in a big pond next season.

The old argument regarding Monaco's tax status is also rearing its head again. I can understand why the rest of the league might be a bit peeved by this, especially now they've got their own billionaire these days.

I'm in the middle of an argument with my fellow PSG supporters. Now that Falcao is off the market, if you needed a striker would you go for Rooney or Cavani? :D
