You have to wonder why they even bother with co-commentators on games they are clearly watching on telly in a studio. It's not like they can give any further depth to what I can see for myself.
Armstrong didn't even realise Barca were down to 10 men. -

Registered 3 years agoI actually quite like them as a commentary team. They sound like they're actually enjoying it, which is more than you can say for Lawro or someone. -
Christ, agree.

Was at the Nou Camp last week for the first leg. Would've loved to have been in Madrid tonight for that.Hated, adored, never ignored.

Strange, thought Real deserved to win over the two legs but just about all of their goals came courtesy of comedy Barca defending.

Excited for Inter vs Roma, about to start on ESPN, should be an exciting game. Lots of empty seats at the San Siro though. -

Only just seen, sorry. It was £92, though it was a fucking unreal seat. Sat literally on the halfway line facing the bench. Second tier, 3rd row up.ElNino9 wrote:

Registered 6 years agoSome rather interesting comments by Ronaldo tonight (on why he didn't celebrate his goals) :
"I'm sad. I can't say more. People here know why. Nothing to do with the UEFA player of the year, that's the past it's ok, Iniesta deserved it. Don't know what will happen. I'm not ok, but I'm going to play for my National team."
Considering one was his 150th Real goal, thought he'd have been happier.
I didn't celebrate my goals because I'm unhappy with some people," said Ronaldo. "They're in the club and know who they are."
All together now "Get him on a plane, bring him back from Spain, viva Ronaldo"

I went to a league game last year, was in the middle tier as well. Quite surprising when you get to the stadium expecting it to be towering over you but find that the middle tier is at street level! -

Registered 6 years agoInteresting enough read, even if it only further compounds the fact that La Liga is a ridiculously lop sided league. -
Zenit are on ESPN right now. Just went 2-0 down at home in added time to some team I've never heard of. Oh dear.
