I assume I can get a stream fairly easily?

Also available on most good online stores and high street shops at a reasonable price ;o)

It was contrived and unfunny. The Beast... was no better. I'm a fan but it died for a reason, leave it be.

Saw the Best on TV on Sunday broken up into episodes. That format didn't hurt it. The fact it wasn't at all funny however, did.

It doesn't. I watched it as episodes when I was in the US this summer, it works really well. In fact, in many ways, they work better as episodes.

Although yeah, you should watch the movie as a whole first.

It was good. :D IMO, anyway. No doubt everyone else will hate it.

It seemed a lot more like "normal" Futurama though. There were some cracking jokes in this one.

Plus I'm in love with the rocketship bit, brief as it was, it was awesomely well done.

It's like an hour and a half long episode of Futurama, rather than Futurama trying to be a feature film, basically.

I thought it was really good apart from the last 3rd which was still alright. Love the Yellow Submarine bit at the start. :)

I have a feeling the 4th and last one will be the best one though.

I didn't watch the new episode(s). Did it disapoint? They left it too long to bring it back imo.

No, it was good. They didn't leave it too long, it wasn't their choice. It came back as soon as it could.

I found Bender's Game sincerely lacking in both imagination and comedy. Just parodying LOTR / D&D with all the standard cliches. Not funny, really. Shame...

I have to agree with Login. Such a shame as I love Futurama and think the 2 previous "movies" have been good (while not classic) but BG didn't work for me either.
The best thing by a long shot was Farnsworth, he had some great lines, plus Billy Wests voice for him is brilliant. For the love of Pete where was Zap ?
    Hopefully ITGWY will be better.

Oh well looks like Family Guy box set will be here tomorrow.

And to completely disagree, I thought the previous two movies were atrocious, whereas this was something of a return to form. Opinions, eh? Tsk.

Yeah, Aretak is closer to the mark. I can't see how anyone could think this movie was worse than the previous one.

Just seen this myself, superb stuff (again in my opinion) definitely the stronger of the films so far, and as always, the DVD commentary is worth the money alone.

The Wild Green Yonder preview is great as well, just hope they haven't stuck the funniest moments into the trailer.

Have to agree with Aretak and Co on this. Bender's Game, for me, is a bit of a return to form for Futurama and the parody is on par with previous ones and far better than A Flight To Remember (a weak example of parody IMO).

Look forward to watching it through with DVD commentary. They tend to be very funny and informative, plus I think David X Cohen is a God amongst Geeks :o)

The blu-ray of the movie has picture-in-picture with the commentary. :)
