I'm kind of glad - I wouldn't want them to run it into the ground and make me hate it.

Just so long as the remaining 13 episodes aren't based around present-day cultural events (read: EyePhone *sigh*) then hopefully they can go out on a high.

I echo earlier comments though that The Devil's Hands will always be the true "end" of Futurama for me. Anything more than that is just fan service.

There are a couple of episodes on par with the Devil's hands episode, like the forwards time machine one. I like the episodes that carry on the development of Leela and Fry's relationship.

I also liked the episode with all the body swapping. There were a good few pure old school futurama in the latest bunch.

    @ZuluHero
I know, my 7 year old loves saying Benders catch phrase! only because she knows it is naughty and only to me I might add.

"Duffman the grey is thrusting in the direction of the problem! Oh, yeah!"

There are definitely some gem episodes mixed in with some poor ones in the last two seasons. Ones which could easily stand alongside the best episodes from the first tranch.

These balls are making me testy!

Just watched the last two episodes of Season six, the current one Sky one were showing.

It is with heavy heart that I say they were dross and the season as a whole has been so very poor. I say that as a massive fan of Futurama.

I know it has been cancelled again, but really hope that the remaining season will give the show the sendoff it so richly deserves. We need a lot more Zapp as well.

I thought the two new episodes(Season 7 episodes 14 and 15) were very enjoyable.

I think it may have just jumped the shark with that last episode.

    Saturday Morning Fun Pit

An episode featuring 3 different segments, each showcasing a different style of animation. "Bendee Boo and the Mystery Crew" is a parody of Scooby-Doo, featuring Bender as a crime-solving dog with the rest of the cast as a group of teenage kids. "Purpleberry Pond" is a parody of Strawberry Shortcake. "G.I. Zapp" is a parody of G.I. Joe.

That's the second one in that '3 different segment' style - watched one earlier in the week. The 8 bit-style segment was alright, but it did feel like they were running out of ideas.

I thought the other one was ok, this one really didn't work for me.

The nature one they did at the end of the last season / mid season was a bit shit.

Ha, how refreshing not to see Zoidberg completely screwed over for once.

This episode was unbelievablely terrible. It's been really hit and miss since it came back but this is one of the worst.

I couldn't help but compare it to 'Why Must I Be a Crustacean in Love?' from season 2.

Really liked that one. It had some terrible bits in it - mostly from the dull Bender subplot - but I was cheering for Zoidberg the whole time, and was very happy when the writers let him have some happiness, for once. (From the Mother of Dragons, of all people.) Also, the tap-dancing on a child's corpse made me laugh.

Hope they get better writers if it comes back again, preferably some of the writers from the original seasons.

As far back as I can remember I always wanted to be a ninja.

Really scrapping the barrel now a days aren't they... Sadly, I've come to accept that Futurama did in fact end after four wonderful seasons, and what came next is not even worth speaking of in the same breathe.

Oh I don't know, I've been watching the newer seasons recently, and although there are a lot of dross, there are several classics in there.

The Late Philip J Fry, and The Silence of the Clamps to name a couple.
