I was asked today about improvements one of our customers could do. They were nationwide and i couldn't help suggesting changing their adverts :)

Yep. I clarified it for them just in case they weren't sure.

I'll be in the unemployment thread shortly...

That photobooth couple one is particularly nauseating.

I found the old woman and student ones far more offensive.

Anyway, has anyone noticed that Boots and House of Fraser's Christmas ads are essentially the same?

What's the House of Fraser one? Is it the same barely veiled attempt to create some tenuous link of the closeness of family and a bloody shop where you can get a meal deal?

Don't forget this country was founded by Jesus with his Turkish mate Santa Claus and has ALWAYS been Christian. Also December 25th is totally when Jesus was born and not some other event that was appropriated.

Regarding the Tesco one, why is that woman trying to put a cooked turkey in the oven? Where did she get it, given it won't fit in that one without removing the shelf?

These things happen. First time I did Christmas lunch, we got home with the turkey on Xmas Eve and realised there was no way it was going to fit in the fridge. Fortunately it was pretty cold, so we put it in the garden for 12 hours. Had to put a big flowerpot over it to stop anything tying to have a nibble.

    50 Life -Over 50s Insurance

Top tip: If your advert looks like something that the contestants on The Apprentice would come up with, it may be better to go back to the drawing board.

Yeah, but once you'd cooked your turkey, you didn't try to stuff it in a smaller oven for shits and giggles, did you?
