Lets have some love for a brilliant advert - Vision Express. I just love the simplicity, the editing, the choice of soundtrack, the expressions - it's the look on the face of the old lady dancing that tops it off.

The ad for this 'Freederm' gel from Clearasil, if only for the song. I've noticed now they've cut down on the length of the ad and I'm convinced it's because the song is an unintelligible, garbled mess of an indie rock song made for the ad that goes absolutely nowhere. Even that singer's voice really grates me.

@Tuffty Actually it's just to save money by reducing the spend, but yeah.

So yesterday I saw a Bertolli advert where old women get their dog to tear a towel away from a youth, exposing him while they take a picture.

Since when did sexual assault become acceptable humour in adverts?
of course reverse that so it's an old man getting a towel off a woman....it'll be banned in 5 minutes.

Same goes for the diet coke adverts, reverse the content and they'd get pulled very quickly.
Not sure about that: most ads on TV and elsewhere feature some kind of nude woman!

Ah, but there's a big difference between people who choose to take off clothing, or wear little clothing, and forcibly removing clothing from someone in order to expose and photograph their sexual organs, no?

Kalel, you do words. Can you make it so companies stop referring to their stores as 'your [whatever]' to try and make us take ownership of it?

Its getting right on my nurples.

@nickthegun I don't mind it when they have a genuine dedication to customer service, otherwise agree totally

There's a Tena Lady advert with a woman waving her fanny in a load of people's faces without them realising it stinks of piss :(

@RedSparrows I once made a 58 year old copywriter storm out of a meeting when I told him I didn't like 'great British, in front of something!

I really like the American Werewolf changing scene re-cut to opera advert but I hate that it is for the Mail on Sunday.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

The ad for some chocolate thing (think it's from Cadbury's) where a girl starts singing a quirky song about wanting to fuck her boyfriend's dad in front of them. Rubbish and annoying.

I'll never get my Orc looking the same again.

Not as bad as those Febreeze ads that show people having THEIR FUCKING MINDS BLOWN by something smelling of stale chemicals

@Shikasama that ad pisses me off. The chemicals in it should not be breathed in, so showing people do just that is ridiculous.

That one that goes 'oh noooo waayyyy' sums it up:

    Over-excited-about-something-she-quite-possibly-realises-is-bollocks-but-has-to-act-for-the-camera.

Given she's an actress, it's even worse.

Gah, that fucking HTC adverts on a tube train just shows you how fucking stupid the internet is.

Although I did see a girl in the shops with a fro the other day, so it's at least vaguely current.

Cubby didn't know how to turn off sigs!

The current BT adverts will be remembered as one of the low points in human history.
