The idea is that we take it in turns designing challenging levels, which are then posted here for everyone else to solve.

The person with the most economical design after a week gets to design the next level.

Using the Rod of Doom (a strategically-placed rod that instantly breaks structures) is frowned upon and as such, solutions using the RoD will be ranked lower than sans-RoD solutions of a similar budget.

Other than that, creativity is key here! Have fun!

I should think the cheapest solution should win (as it's not about a mad rush to complete the level). That way you can keep trying until the challenge is over (for - say - a few days), and even post scores to tease people to do better...

    That would work too...

Let's call it 48hrs per level, shall we?

    Nice!

I'll have to try it a different way then - that's quite a bit lower than my score :(

    Armadillo Run

If you've ever played Bridge Builder, or any of its successors, it's pretty much like that except instead of a train you have an armadillo that has to get to a portal.

Give the demo a go; the full game's a tenner.

    ...

My $4004 solution has actually stopped working now so I need to refine it a bit.

But the more money you have left the better surely.

I've managed to scrimp, now up to $4112.

VGood level by the way, love the time release rockets and starting it curled up in cloth like that.

Oh and whens the deadline ?

This is so frustrating. There's only one way that you guys are doing it so cheaply, but I can only get the 'dillo [--------------] this close to the goal :(

Presumably your doing it in a bow string like fashion?

Seen as Teeth has me well and truly beat I dont think theres any harm in saying that.

I'll just say that I'm trying to exploit the existing rockets and structure, but it's not quite working...

I'll have another crack this evening, but I doubt that I'll beat either of your ridiculously low scores.

Either way, I'll upload my various solutions tomorrow at 4pm. You'll laugh at my first one when you see it :)
