    How many barstaff do they need in that place?

    They have three of them buzzing about an area the size of my kitchen with cindy sat, propping up the bar doing fuck all.

    True, but at the same time as two of the most loved characters in soap, it's more about the impact on the characters and their marriage, and it helps that the actors do give genuinely good performances. Alfie tonight was fantastic, and as much as I despise the character, the guy who plays Derek manages to get a lot out of what is basically a pnto villain.

    Now with 80% more Cthulhu!

    That whole storyline has been annoying the fuck out of me so much so we'd given up for weeks up till tonight. The script just goes "Tell me who it is", "no!", "tell me?!", "can't","Tell me who it is", "no!", "tell me?!", "can't","Tell me who it is", "no!", "tell me?!", "can't" for 30 mins. Fuck that. I was hoping all 3 of them were doing her for LOLS. I'm also hoping Alfie goes all Black Dahlia on her and makes a nice sculpture out of her parts in the square and the rest get malignant AIDS.

    Oh don't get me wrong, the acting helped it play out pretty well. It was almost hard to watch in places because of how cringeworthy it was (for Alfie) and that's the aim I guess.

    But at the same time there is a nagging feeling that this has just gone on too long. He's been mugged off for so long. And then some. And then a little bit more. I know Alfie is everybody's favourite cuddly bear etc etc but surely there must be a breaking point for him too.........

    Oh and don't even start about Kat. She just lies so much it's getting hard to watch. I know she is/was immensely popular but please for the love of god let something really awful happen to her now. For the sake of all things good in this world.
