    You need 60 to get to Bowser. There are 120 stars to get with Mario, at which point something terribly exciting happens that leads to a potential 121st star should you be motivated to get it.

    In total there are 242 but only 121 unique ones. The 121st one isn't really worth bothering with as it involves nothing more challenging than walking.

    How far are you Dutch? I'm playing at the moment and I'm 72 in. Going to get the whole amount - I'm hopelessly addicted. :)

    Arrghhh.. 'Luigi's Purple Coins' in 'Toy Time Galaxy' is a bitch. finally got a hundred coins then had to make my way all the way to the other side again and fucked up. Its all been a breeze so far, but this one is testing. But, it is satisfying.

    Although, I’m kinda having a conversation with myself in this thread – I don’t care.

    Victory dance is in order for I’ve got 120 stars no less. You heard me, damn straight.

    'Luigi's Purple Coins' in 'Toy Time Galaxy' was certainly the hardest – *as with all things it eventually fell to my gaming prowess*.

    Hey trip. I'm at 62. I haven't come up against anything rick hard yet, although there is one race that I gave up on after about 10 frustrating attempts

    I would say the vast majority are a cakewalk. Once you get the three green stars and go to that planet they are slightly trickier but don’t put up much resistance really.

    It’s more the experience of them rather then the brutal difficulty that appeals anyway. I think.

    It is and it was a lot harder than all that went before. But, I think it’s a great level that while challenging never stepped into the territory of unfair.

    Yes, Luigi's Purple Coins IS the hardest one to get in the game by far.
