Right then, what about starting a thread about this upcoming trilogy? There's a good chance we see the first opus around November this year.

    Now for some EGM scans:

They sure seem to be ambitious. It's one of the games that might make buy a 360.

Sweetness, I am planning on picking up a 360 at the end of the year. Too Human has been on my list since last year.

    Looks and sounds great.

    The game is DukeNukemForever'ish.

Silicon Knights made that good Dark Omen and Eternal Darkness!

    They're not bad developers.
Absolutely. I lost so many hours to Dark Omen, and Eternal Darkness is an excellent game, which provides an engaging, alternative, but eminently playable experience.

In terms of Too Human, I read before (sorry if the scans already mention this, but there were just placeholders when I went to look) that the game basically is based on a concept from Norse mythology. The twist being that the TH's set in the future.
The title refers to the main character's determination to resist the urge to biomechanically enhance himself, hence at times, he may be "too human" to accomplish certain tasks - Or something like that.

I think it's a clever idea and I look forward to hopefully learning more about the game from reports out of E3.

edit: Just gave the images from playerone a look- Intriguing, and looking good, too! :)

We'd best prepare the infiltration team just in case...

Too human sounds like it doesn't easily fit any one particular genre.

Been interested in this game since falling in love with Eternal Darkness on the GC. It seems like it's a hugely ambitious project - looking absolutely lovely at the moment, so here's hoping the gameplay can match the visuals and story.

Eternal Darkness was decent, and Soul Reaver was a class act! Didn't SK do that too?

Crystal Dynamics made Soul Reaver aparently, SK did Eternal Darkness and the Metal Gear remake on the GC among other things.

    First footage here.

Obviously really early, and the video quality is terrible, but it's looking promising IMO. Hopefully there will be a downloadable demo during E3, or at least some gameplay footage of a more recent build...

I hope they've fixed the collision detection, and added more weapon animations to the main character. :/

There are some new screenshots on ign, they look pretty good... dunno if they're in game though and that video wasn't the best of quality so couldn't really tell

A rather underwhelming gameplay video here.

Lots of technical issues, boring gameplay, empty spaces.

There's still hope, according to the guy who shot the video:
Translated from the French forum:

    Warning !

It does look crap. It's even worse with a gamepad in hand. [...] I talked about this with Denis Dyack, who told me it's basically a rough alpha version, a prototype. Nothing, be it cameras, animations, framerate etc, has been finalised. According to him, it's lightyears away from what the final build will be. Apparently Silicon Knights were pressurised to show the game at E3, and could have done without it. I'm not saying you should forget what you saw in the video and that Too Human will be a killer app. But do not burry the game too quickly, as there is a lot of work being done on it and obvious potential.
Here's hoping!

Given Silicon Knights' usual work rate, it should be done sometime in 2011. :-)
