You were struggling when you put George Pal's piece of crap in the fifties! ;-)

30s - Mr Smith Goes To Washington
40s - A Matter Of Life and Death
50s - The Bridge On the River Kwai
    60s - Zulu
    70s - Dirty Harry
    80s - The Killing Fields
    90s - Reservoir Dogs
00s - Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

    This space left intentionally blank.

James Cameron is currently setting up both Avatar and Battle Angle Alita (first in a trilogy), I'll go out on a limb and say the Avatar will be 2000s film of the decade in the end.

It's quite simple - Empire was a good film - ergo it was not directed by a chubby bearded tit. Merely a skinny bearded tit. :)

Was Kind Hearts and Coronets in the 30s or 40s?
50s - Its a wonderful life (though I think this might have been 40s)
    60s - North by Northwest
    70s - Star wars
    80s - Aliens
    90s - Shawshank Redemption
    00s - Lost in Translation

OK so I'm probably totally off with the dates for the 30s, 40s and 50s but I'm a bit drunk I can just tell if I start taking DVDs out of my DVD tower I'll end up buried under them.......

Well I shamelessly stole the first two entries from you, I had to change some things, hadn't i? ;)

I really like Blow Up a lot, but it's not one of my favourite films, can't really say why.
