    Hi chaps.

    I'm a bit worried, my wife had to go into hospital at 3am last night and while she's probably going to be ok - i can't stay in the hospital with her so i've been told to go home, only problem is i haven't slept on my own for years and years, it's pretty creepy and weird so i figured i'd post on the EG forums to cheer things up!

    I'm currently catching up on work while C&C:Decades installs and reading my "REAL ultimate power" book somebody linked to on amazon a while ago.

    Did you know Ninja's have to walk up ladders backwards as their raging hard-ons don't allow them to do it normally!

    It's just quiet and creepy.. I wonder if one day they'll make a forum with voice recordings for posts.. she has pre something or other which means the baby isnt getting enough oxygen :p maybe they'll induce her and Pirotic Jnr will be here early, not sure yet.

    I hope everything's fine mate.

    In the meantime, try turning off all the lights and standing naked in the middle of the room, and see if that helps.

    Yes, good point.

    So has the installation finished, and will C&C cure Pirotic's loneliness? Tune in in... five minutes for the next episode!

    Turn on radio 4, or the telly for the audio company. Hope she's back soon.

    She'll be ok. Just don't like not having her around, sure i just sat at the PC all the time anyway when she was around but it still feels different :D

    It's installed, catching up on a lot of my work (remote access to my work PC) so i'll have one less thing to get stressed about :D

    The C&C install takes about 3 eons to complete, so you'll be good for a while.

    That's cool. Work's a good thing to keep your mind off things. I'm sure she'd be touched to know how lonely you're feeling.

    When I saw the thread title, I thought this was a thread for single people. Now I feel like crap, as well. Thanks, Piro.

    I know what you mean :( When the missus went on the odd night shift, back in the olden days, it used to get sooo boring. If no one from EG was around playing Ghost Recon then it jus wouldn't feel the same without her.

    Hope all's good - a quite house after a long time is very odd - but no doubt she'll be back sooner than you think. Try not to burn the house down, mind. :)

    Good luck Piro - its good that they have seen the signs, and have her in the hospital...it is not good if they don't spot it. I can't understand why they don't let you kip underneath her bed!

    We need an "Expectant Fathers" section!

    Have to say I sleep like a log when the wife is away...I get to stay up late, playing games, watching programmes I want to watch, reading late, and the covers don't get pulled off me 3 times a night!

    Next time, turn on the TV, then go to plaz games on the PC. it'll be just as if she was there.

    Just at home from uni, miss my girlfriend whose at her home, miss my friends (well, one of them), miss the freedom. Should go to bed but meh, what's the point?

    Well, since KFC is obviously closed I went for the DIY solution. Popcorn with bits of chicken fat jammed into the pieces fried in a pan.

    I reckon KFC should sell JUST chicken skin. You could eat it by itself or wrap up your chips, spoons of coleslaw or other pieces of chicken - for double skin fun - in it. The possibilities are endless.

    Going to watch High Fidelity now. That's a nice film for loneliness.
