    Harry - you can counter mid-combo, in place of block.

    Pirotic - if you just keep hitting back and free against a good player you won't counter enough to make it worth while - they have halved the counter window for just that reason. The point of the counter is to get you on the offensive, it just starts with some damage. If anything, it forces you to mix up your style a little more than some games.

    Are you serious? I know Nintendo is hardly exhibiting the first ever use of touch-screen technology, but you can't see originality in the DS? I'd like to know exactly which games and consoles it is aping, then.

    You know when Miyamoto designs games he doesn't actually consider the hardware, Nintendo look at his ideas and then tend to make hardware around his designs - he said he wanted more accurate movement so they put an analogue stick on for him, he said he wanted easier camera controls so they put the C buttons on.

    It works in that you normally get one or two really unique games, such as Nintendogs - but as great as Miyamoto is, he is no longer enough to make a console successful, and by catering to his ever-more-outlandish game ideas in the end will just alienate Nintendo from every other developer.

    watch and see, revolution third party support will be terrible. They'll keep the meat and bones games on convential platforms and use the Revolution for low budget 'novelty' projects.

    There are plenty of obvious games that are being copied and 'tweaked'. I can't be arsed to go into it again, I've debated this often enough on here, and if I do it again Prof.Lesser will have a hernia.

    However, yes I do see originality in the DS - Another Code. Brilliant it is, just too short and other games need to follow suit.

    Just quickly, are you saying that there is no originality to the platform, because base ideas are being plagiarized, or just that the majority of games are lazily produced 'tweaks', rather than properly thought out?

    So this has gone from Pirotic writing a long rant , before saying its growing on him, while it being obvious that he likes the game enough to unlock secret characters and keep playing it - to blizeh insulting people who play games on the 360 and saying they have no brains for playing games they enjoy

    You are certainly not. I was rather unapreciative of the original xbox for games (mmm xbmc), but the 360 has given me much enjoyment despite the "unoriginal" concepts on it.
