Staples (formerly Office World) have a good one for either £29.99 or £34.99, in black. Think it is the only one at that price point in black. Contoured long back rest (which works) and decent enough parts to last a while (although I doubt as long as my former chair which was in the £100 area and very nice).

Haven't they been Staples for years and years? There has been a Staples near me for years anyway.

Quite possibly. I only ever went there as a kid* and then recently had to return after my über-chair finally died a slow death.

*Toy'r'us my arse, all the cool toys were at Office World.

I've got one very similar to the Argos one from Ikea. Does the job for me, £60 I think.

Stupidly long Staples link (may not work).

Prima Operator Chair, Black. £29.99 (find something for a few pennies like a pad of paper or a few biros to push it over £30 to get free delivery).

Surprisingly good chair for the money (as long as you don't like arm rests - I can't stand them)

    What no furniture subcategory?

Just broke my old reliable swivel chair. Anyone know where to get a decent black PC/office chair? £50 absolute limit, and preferably the high street as I want it tomorrow! Argos have one for £45 which isnt bad, just wondering if any one knows anywhere better/cheaper.

Oh and spare me the "its important for your posture, £50 is no good" line :p

    BUMP

    Need a new office/desk chair.

Really fancy getting myself something a bit stylish as well as comfy. Always had a thing for the Eames classic, but a real one is over £3k!

You can get very decent replicas for around £200 though, but was wondering if anyone knew of any similar office type chairs that are comfy and have a bit of style to them.

When I got up just now I saw I'd gotten chocolate all melted into my chair, and thought I'd gotten it smeared all over my ass. But I hadn't.

    End of story.
