Anderson was excellent tonight too, though he was blowing out of his arse for the last 15 minutes.

Registered 6 years agoA goal and 2/3 assists for Arshavin tonight. Really hope he gets some chances in Cazorla's position this season, he's much better there than out wide. -

Not that surprising, given most of those ties will be in the later stages of cups.

Unfortunately Pacheco is 21 (or 22) now, I think he's missed his chance. If he wants to stay at the club he really needs to grab the opportunity between now and when we sign some more players in Jan.

It doesn't matter how many things he's gotten away with it, the fact of the matter is that he did this against a Liverpool player.

The trouble is that at that age, you start taking up a place in the squad of 25. That's not a problem right now as our squad of senior players is so thin, but when it starts filling out again, he needs to have done enough to earn that place ahead of someone else. If he were a year or two younger, it wouldn't be a problem.

Reminded me of Berbatov's against Liverpool, except Berbatov was in line with the corner of the goal rather than the centre, if Cisse hadn't caught it as cleanly it might've had a better chance.
