Had home made green lentil soup with home made spelt bread. On a bit of a roll with the home made stuff the last few months. It doesn't save that much money but at least I'm eating better quality stuff.

two slices of wholemeal bread, two slices of half fat cheese, 4 cherry tomatoes, one small mug of green tea.

    Getting a bit boring tbh.

Still, it will be the same but peanut butter tommorow, so that will be new. Yay.

I quite like eating the same thing over and over as you can explore the taste variation in the same thing. Every sandwich is a little bit different.

@rockavitch what actually constitutes a "round" of toast. I class it as "as many slices as my toaster does at once"

@andyc1980 For me a round is usually 6, loaf usually only lasts 24 hours here, less if anyone else wants a piece.

Just made a very easy and delicious lunch: honey roasted cherry tomatoes.

I used around half of a medium sized bag of cherry tomatoes, 1 clove of garlic, 1 tbsp of clear honey, 1.5tbsp of olive oil.

Preheat the oven to 190C. Lightly oil a medium roasting tin. Cut the tomatoes in half and place them cut side up in the tin.

Mix together crushed garlic, flaky sea salt, honey, olive oil and black pepper. Put the mixture over the tomatoes, in the oven for half an hour.

I had it on sourdough toast with a bit more sea salt on top. Delicious.

Tuna and sweet potato salad with various pulses, nuts, seeds and jalapeņos.

Nectarine for afters. 'Twas fantastic, right on the very peak of delicious ripeness.

In laws went to a wedding at the weekend. Really posh doo... Except they were serving soup in jam jars as a starter.

Strawberries which I picked on Saturday in the glorious sunshine at a PYO place. First time my girlfriend's girls had ever been and the first time in years for me. Nice to be eating things that remind me of a nice memory.

Well, just had most of my lunch when I arrived to the office this morning. Need to stop eating it at 9-10am. I think I need to eat bigger breakfasts to keep me going.
