I think it was TDKR that broke the camels back. The articles were halving in size within minutes of them being posted.

    So I heard.

That has been the case for the last 3 batman films since they came out though; for whatever reason that franchise has been DCMA'd more efficiently than any other.

Expendables 2 was getting DMCA'd to hell recently as well. They ended up uploading it under random names to get round that, but those only lasted a short while.

Not sure where I'll go after Usenet. Don't trust bittorrent at all. Like someone said, would happily pay a lot for access to a legal source of movies and TV but no one seems to want to provide the kind of range offered by pirates.

So it really could be the end then? Nzbrus gone, NzbMatrix gone, Newzbin2 gone...article removal.

Whats the next option? Is there another option?

If anyones got an invite to another site then, i'd be very grateful for one. Many thanks.

Damnit. Is this a new Usenet offensive then? I've been having issues getting certain things in the last couple of weeks, previously SickBeard has got everything perfectly. Don't want to go back to torrents :(

There are plenty of other NZB sites, but the advantage of NZBMatrix was its community. You could find out if a release was worth grabbing by the comments left.

There is something called NewzNab which allows you to create your very own NZB site. I hear setup is a little fiddly but it's an interesting alternative.

Just to confirm, none of us used nzbmatrix to download games, right? Because that would be bad.

You need to look at the sites and find which offer an api key.  I posted one on the last page.

Here's what I'm using, none as good as Matrix but they'll do for now (no idea about APIs):

    Binsearch
    http://nzb.isasecret.com/
    https://nzb.cc/
    http://www.nzbclub.com/

Also https://nzbs.in/ seems good, nice feature where you can view a movie/TV/whatever and it lists all available downloads, but registration is closed right now. I can send out invites when they show up again.

Supernews. Been okay, but missing some of the releases hit by DMCA notices. Not sure how you can avoid that now, maybe some of the more obscure providers will have them, but some usenet services are just resellers.

    Usenetnow. Brilliant provider.

Found a couple of Dutch nzb sites which are still up and non-registration but if anyone hears of decent replacement for nzb matrix I'd appreciate a tipoff... Cheers!

Curiouser and curiouser. I'm using astraweb

Worked fine for me this morning, just checked for something through sickbeard (an old show to boot) and still working fine...

Sickbeard still works for me if I use it's own search rather than nzbmatrix etc. Dunno where it's getting the nzbs from though..

check its provider list and the order it checks them. also you could just look at the log and it'll say where it grabbed the nzb from.

@crashVoodoo Just checked, it'a just grabbing them from "Sickbeard Index". Works though.

Tried using ORLYDB to get release titles and then Binsearch to manually grab headers? It works okay-ish. Still looking for a dognzb invite or something though...

@Goodfella It hasn't closed, you just need to use this URL: https://nzb.su/index.php

All my shows were grabbed from here last night. Which was odd as I couldn't load it up.  This explains why.
