You won't have any luck with Rauper's card on the 7th, that's our Christmas party. ;)

Haha the 7th is out anyway. It clashes with what I've got on. Is the 14th leaving it too late/close to book anywhere?

Come on Ven! Flex those community managerial powers!

14th is brutally unlikely for me, it's my recovery day between two Christmas rapings.

LB, you really are a massive geek.

    These threads only serve to remind me how empty my social calendar is ;_;

Hell, I could make the 25th if the trains are running!

We could have a mini-pre-Xmas meet and a full blown one in January. That way those who can't make the December one can go to the other one.

    What do you reckon?

Other than the week of 20-12/27-12 (when I'm on-call, yes I'm on-call over Christmas) I'm fairly free in December.

    This space left intentionally blank.

We actually have a night in the works for January already so you could tie it into that? Or not. Up to you. It'll probably be on a Thursday rather than a Friday or Saturday though.

Can I shake everyone to the absolute core and suggest we go somewhere different this year?

I wasn't even going to suggest the Marquis. I was thinking of somewhere a little bit more... interesting and modern. How about a bar in Soho?

How about Fab selection of South American beers at Cafe Paficio on Charlotte street, then on to East Street for amazing SE Asian food and cocktails.

Soho's cheeky, that gets my vote. South Bank / Borough Market could work as well, or Islington, or ...

THIS JUST IN! I can't do the 1st.

Still reckon you should go for mulled wine at Borough Market.

OOooooooooor we go to MeatLiquor near oxford street, have some awesome burgers and get shitfaced on their equally amazing cocktails then make our way to London Cocktail club (Shaftesbury Ave) to get even more shitfaced, there are plently of pubs along the way.

    So, Soho then Razz ;)

Check out Freid's off Shaftesbury Ave. if you do end up there. Also London Cocktail Club is the shizzle.

Borough market could be cool, we could meet at the barrowboy and banker, and drink our way to waterloo along the south bank

London Cocktail CLub is amazing, most authentic Absinthe I've had in London. The bar staff are really knowledable, also FREE POPCORN! \o/

BM: Roxy cocktails, Bedales mulled wine, TOTI beers, Vinopolis blue bar cocktails, Anchor beers (and pretend you're Tom Cruise from the end of Mission Impossible), Lamb beers, Tate Modern cocktails, Doggett beers and great view, Skylon cocktails, Gordon's wine.

I'm like the fucking Baedecker of pub crawling.

LB, you really are a massive geek.
