I'm (most probably) going to London on the 8-11th of december. I just thought I'd see if there's any interest in a mini-meet any of those days - just a few hours worth of seeing some of you lot would be fun enough. :)

    Edit: Here's the deal:

    Right guys and gals

I have spoken to the manager of the Euston Flyer, they do not have function rooms as such but he will section off an area for us on the afternoon/evening of the 10th. This is free of charge. Apparently the pub is huge. It is open until 12pm

    The Euston Flyer
    83 Euston Road
    NW1 2RA
    020 7383 0856

    Map link

I told the guy we'd probably start trickling in in the afternoon, he'll get the area set up at 5pm ish

If this is an issue for anyone please let me know.

    It's booked under Pete Robinson

By the way I told the guy it would be roughly 30 people give or take, I think that's about right

    Hooray for organisation!

I'd love to come along. If we do end up having our Christmas meet around then can somebody please book a venue as we seem to have more people at every one.

The meet would have to be Saturday the 10th, we (me dad is treating me and my brother to this) are going to see We Will Rock You on the 9th.

Also, would anyone fancy taking three Swedes to a game on that Saturday, if there are any? It'd defo have more flavour with a native about. :)

Edit: BTW, any chance of a sticky on this?

    My heartfelt commiserations :(

Would loving Queen to death help make it more bearable, or worse?

sticky it 3 months in advance??

With the 3 stickies that are already up there we soon won't ahve a forum frontpage to discuss in normal topics :-)

If you don't mind, I think it'd be best to sticky it a bit closer to the time. :)

The place we had the last Christmas meet in was nice, The Fox (I think) near West Ken tube station. We could always book that again.

Yeah that place was pretty good.

I have a sneaking suspicion there'll be more than just the one PSP at this meet though! :-)

Indeed. I look forward to having my arse handed to me at Ridge Racer and whatever else I've bought by then!

It was good, but because you have to go through Earl's Court it involves leaving earlier than normal to avoid running for the last train home. Unless I had somewhere to crash then you'd be graced with my presence all night long :)

Yeah, but half of them won't work with the other half as WipEout and RR and maybe Virtua Tennis will be the games of choice and the first two will be split between Jap/US/European copies.
