Registered 10 years agoIt's supposed to be a blinding weekend of sunshine on the south coast. Mouse and I have friends coming down to stay, and we're going to the beach to 'borrow' pebbles for our new vase. -

Registered 10 years agoIt is illegal, so I'll make sure I return them when I move out of Brighton one day.
And seconded about the childhood activity of taking home buckets of pebbles! I used to pick up ones that looked like animals or people. I remember always picking up the lone rocks scattered around the perimeter of the nearest car park, because I felt sorry for them that they didn't have any rock friends around them. So I'd take them home and put them on the rockery in the garden.
Does anyone have rockerys (rockeries?!) these days? The last one I saw was in the early 90s. They need a revival! -

Registered 10 years agoThis weekend I shall mostly be playing HL2 and UT2004 at a two day LAN party up in Newcastle.
Can't wait, machine is ready, am picking up a projector for the server stats and movies... Beer is already there. I think its going to be a good weekend. -

Registered 9 years agoThis weekend I shall be manufacturing a set of shelves with glass and wood so that I can put my consoles and projector on it. I have 8 sheets of glass and some wood left over from an old single bed I used to have. -

I have a 5m Beamer, not too large but it can pull me right off my feet in a 22 mph wind, and I weigh 14 stone!
