Registered 11 years agoA proper Crystal Maze game with 6 player mode. Pure party bliss, possibly. With fully rendered Richard O'Brien, complete with a myriad of obscure clothes, obviously. -

Registered 11 years agoMario Hunt??? It could be a really gory light gun game! You get to shoot the fella in the head when he pops up and says 'it's a me, Mario!'.
Just an idea... and it is late... -

Registered 11 years agoMake a proper James Bond game!
Something like a Deus Ex sort of game, multiple paths, adventure game elements, slightly more action than Deus Ex. Sneaking in, shooting when need be, cool cars, talking to villains and women. Have a cool casino level, talk to people downstairs, go upstairs in the hotel section and break into a room, either shoot your way in, sneak in by climbing from one balcony to another or something.
So much potential, instead we are treated to garbage FPS trying to recreate GoldenEye. -
A 'proper' Elite sequel. 'Nuff said.

Some "real world" RPGs. 19th century exploration of Africa, or the Wild West, and more SciFi-RPGs, a bit like Star Trek, with dozens of planets to explore, space combat etc. There was one like that on the Amiga I think, but I can't remember its name.

Registered 11 years agoI really need an up-to-date version of ELITE. Designed for todays powerful processors and Graphics cards - with, if possible a huge perpetutal online mulitplayer world.
That would be an amazing game. -

Damn, wish I'd thought of that one.
The Halo Jones RPG, including the bits that never got written..gif)
The High G battleground sequence would beat the crap out of 'bullettime' wouldn't it? =)-- boobs do nothing for me, I want moustaches and chest hair.

Registered 11 years agoAgree with everyone on the MMORPG Elite front but lets take it even further. You launch from the station orbiting Lave in your Cobra MkIII with all the toys, drop through atmosphere and land in a bustling city then carjack an expensive hovercar, pop it into your cargo bay then jump to another system and sell the vehicle on! Elite and GTA mixed together, marvelous!.gif)
Oh another Fallout RPG would be good, as already mentioned and another Crimson Skies game would be nice too. I know there's one coming out for the Xbox but having powerups and health packs lying around doesn't interest me much.

Wow that's sounding more promising then! When I saw some of the early video stuff with the player's plane swooping in and picking up weapon powerups and things I wondered what they were thinking. I have heard that that sort of thing goes on in Mechassault though...

Alternatively, Hearts of Iron mixed with Battlefield 1942. -

I have to take issue with this - there have been loads of good Star Wars games !.
Try ....
Jedi Knight (I and II)
XWing
XWing v Tiefighter (or whatever it was called)

I fear it's rather because it's harder to create different weapons and different enemies and impossible to use spells when creating a real world RPG.

Well I do. Used to read it when I was a kid, though I can't remember the name of the mag it was in - I seem to remember it was a mag & not a comic. Quality though.
Some kind of game based on the Trigan Empire would be good too (now if anyone remembers *that* I'll be impressed).
My reference to Bandersnatch & Psyclapse went un-commented, so I guess no one knows them either. -

Who then wonder why said parents did! "Worthy" is one way to describe "Look & Learn", "Bloody boring" is how I described it I think. "Whizzer & Chips" was a proper kids comic back then!
'Bandersnatch' rings a bell, not sure why. Trigan Empire ran in Look & Learn, a comic bought by parents for their boys.
